• Joc Pederson has three hits to lead Diamondbacks
Joc Pederson went 3-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBI on Sunday afternoon, leading the Diamondbacks to a 6-4 victory over the visiting Tigers to salvage the final game of their three-game weekend set.

Advice: Pederson got the scoring started with an RBI double off of Matt Manning in the home half of the first inning. He also smacked a run-scoring single in the second inning — extending the Diamondbacks’ lead to 3-0. With his three-hit attack, the 32-year-old slugger is now hitting a robust .317/.421/.558 with five homers, 12 RBI and one stolen base on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:21 pm

  • Andy Pages homers in win over Reds
Andy Pages went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Many people were cutting bait on Pages after he went through an extended cold streak to start May, but it’s telling that the Dodgers opted to stick with him and demote James Outman to Triple-A instead. While Pages’ strikeouts have increased in May, he has always posted solid walk rates in the minors, so it was fair to assume he would adjust his approach to counter how pitchers started to attack him. The 105 mph home run off Hunter Greene is another reminder of the power that he possesses, and if the Dodgers are going to keep him in the starting lineup, he likely deserves to at least be on your bench. • Heliot Ramos homers in win over Rockies
Heliot Ramos went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: The blast was a 409-foot shot that came off the bat at 102.5 mph. It was his first of the season. While teammate Luis Matos has been getting all the attention for his blistering start following his promotion from Triple-A, Ramos is looking good with a .293/.341/.439 triple slash. In fact, Ramos was outplaying Matos in Triple-A as well, with a .296/.388/.565 slash line, eight homers, 21 RBI, and a pair of stolen bases in his first 30 games. While many people will put big bids on Matos this weekend, a small bid on Ramos could go just as far. Rotoworld Today, 3:47 pm

  • Jon Berti hits three-run homer versus White Sox
Jon Berti went 2-for-3 and hit a three-run homer versus the White Sox in Sunday’s win.

Advice: Berti’s first extra-base hit in 47 at-bats this season was a 366-foot fly that would have been a homer in two ballparks. We’d say the Yankees would have been better off playing him over Oswaldo Cabrera in recent weeks, but it hasn’t mattered much, and DJ LeMahieu is about to trump both players. Rotoworld Today, 2:50 pm

  • Corey Julks homers, reaches three times in loss
Corey Julks went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk versus the Yankees on Sunday.

Advice: Julks isn’t a major league regular, but that’s not really the standard on the White Sox right now, not with Andrew Benintendi looking worse than ever and Gavin Sheets’ defense in right negating his maybe somewhat improved offense. He’ll probably play mostly against lefties, but it’s not like there’d be any harm in starting him against righties, too. Rotoworld Today, 2:50 pm

  • Adolis Garcia (forearm) undergoes MRI on Sunday
Adolis Garcia underwent an MRI exam on his injured right forearm on Sunday which came back clean for any structural damage.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was scratched from the Angels’ lineup on Sunday due to a right forearm issue. It looks like he avoided anything serious though and Rangers’ skipper Bruce Bochy told reporters that he expects Garcia to return to the team’s starting lineup on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 2:47 pm

  • Imaging comes back clean
Garcia (forearm) underwent imaging on his forearm Sunday, which came back clean according to manager Bruce Bochy, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: Garcia was scratched from the lineup ahead of Sunday's series finale with the Angels due to right forearm discomfort, but he appears to have avoided any sort of significant injury. The team has an off day Monday, so the outfielder's next opportunity to return to the lineup will come Tuesday on the road versus the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 2:43 pm

  • Brent Rooker hits three-run homer in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run on Sunday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Rooker’s homer was his 11th of the season and he scalded this one at 111.7 MPH off the bat. There’s still a lot of swing and miss in his game, but a barrel rate right around 15% and hitting third in the surging A’s lineup has turned him into one of the best run producers in the league early this season. • Rengifo has triple and RBI vs Rangers
Luis Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Rengifo returned this weekend after being on the IL with an illness and was right back to the top of the batting order, which is good news for his fantasy value. His RBI triple in the seventh inning helped to pad the lead and his walk earlier in the game set him up for a stolen base attempt. While he was thrown out, the fact that he continues to lead off and run makes him a solid bet in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 2:38 pm
