      Advice: Ward was the only Angel with multiple hits in the 13-inning marathon. He's logged three straight multi-hit games, swatting a homer in each of them to reach 10 long balls on the year. The outfielder is slashing .275/.320/.494 with 28 RBI, 27 runs scored, nine doubles and two stolen bases over 45 contests.     • Blows save, takes loss Saturday
      Finnegan (1-3) took the loss and blew a save against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk over 1.2 innings.

      Advice: Finnegan was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth inning and got two outs before serving up a game-tying solo homer to Kody Clemens. The contest went into an extra frame, and after Washington failed to score in the top of the 10th, Finnegan was tagged with the loss when Bryce Harper plated the automatic runner on a sacrifice fly. The blown save was just the second for Finnegan this year, with the other coming all the way back on March 31.       Nathaniel Lowe drove in two runs including a walk-off hit-by-pitch in the 13th inning against the Angels on Saturday.

      Advice: The Angels decided to load the bases with an intentional walk to Corey Seager. It didn’t work out, as Carson Fulmer plunked Lowe to give the Rangers the win.       Gausman came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Rays, giving up three runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

      Advice: The veteran right-hander cruised through five innings before running into trouble in the sixth and allowing all three of his runs. It was a solid bounce-back effort for Gausman after he got tagged for seven runs (six earned) in his last outing, and the quality start was his third of the season.       Kyle Finnegan blew his second save of the season against the Phillies on Saturday.



      Advice: Finnegan had two outs in the bottom of the ninth when he allowed a game-tying solo home run to Kody Clemens. Finnegan took the loss as he allowed another run on a game-winning sacrifice fly by Bryce Harper in the 10th inning. He entered play Saturday leading the league with 13 saves, but he was probably due to give up some runs as his ERA is 1.89 but his xFIP is significantly higher at 3.72.

    • Kevin Gausman goes six innings in no-decision
      Kevin Gausman allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

      Advice: Gausman had worked around four hits through five scoreless frames before the Rays would get to him in the sixth. Two base hits and a walk would load the bases with two outs. Amed Rosario knocked a single to plate two runs. José Caballero followed with a single to bring in one more before Gausman got out of the inning. He struck out six.     • Return delayed multiple weeks
      Jung (wrist) still appears to be at least six weeks from returning to the lineup, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

      Advice: Jung has yet to pick up a bat after undergoing surgery on his right wrist April 2 and is expected to be reevaluated in another 10-to-14 days before being cleared to start taking swings. The initial timeline for his return was 6-to-8 weeks, which was later adjusted to 10-to-12 weeks, and he now appears to be tracking toward the latter end of that estimation, if not later. The repair of his fractured wrist proved to be trickier than initially anticipated, and Texas will likely be cautious in its approach with the budding star at third base, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back until late June or early July.       The New York Post’s Joel Sherman reports the Mets offered first baseman Pete Alonso a seven-year, $158 million contract extension last summer.
