    • Kwan has two hits, home run in win Saturday
      Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

      Advice: Is there anything Kwan can’t do? The home run was his sixth of the year and second in his last four games. After going 0-for-4 on Friday to snap his 14-game hitting streak, he bounced back with another two hits. Kwan has been one of the best hitters in the league.     • Ramirez belts 19th home run in win Saturday
      Jose Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

      Advice: Ramirez’ home run was his 19th of the season. He took Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios deep with a man on in the third inning. Ramirez’ excellent season continues. He’s hitting .271 with a .858 OPS and 67 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Today, 4:08 pm

      The Diamondbacks placed Moreno on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a sprained left thumb, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

      Advice: Moreno's X-rays came back negative after he exited Friday's game due to his injured thumb, but the damage seems to still be severe enough to warrant keeping him out for the next 10 days. While he recovers, Tucker Barnhart will take over as Arizona's primary catcher and Jose Herrera will come up from Triple-A Reno to provide additional depth at catcher.       Diamondbacks placed C Gabriel Moreno on the 10-day injured list with a left thumb sprain.

      Advice: Arizona has clearly opted not to take any chances here and will shut Moreno down for at least the next couple days after he was lifted from Friday’s game against the Phillies with a left thumb sprain. The 24-year-old backstop doesn’t appear to be facing a lengthy absence since X-rays came back negative for any fractures, but the Diamondbacks can’t really afford to play shorthanded at catcher.       Gabriel Moreno (thumb) is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Phillies.

      Advice: Moreno has had a down year this season, relative to fantasy managers’ lofty expectations, on the heels of a stellar postseason at the dish. However, it would be a significant loss for Arizona if he winds up requiring a trip to the injured list. The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative for any fractures after Moreno left Friday’s game against the Phillies with a left thumb sprain. He should be considered day-to-day for now.       Santander went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's loss to Houston.

      Advice: Santander knocked an RBI single in the third inning before capping off Baltimore's seven-run eighth with a two-run shot. He entered June with nine homers and a .712 OPS through 51 games. Since then, he's caught fire; Santander has ripped 11 home runs while producing a 1.090 OPS in 20 June contests.       Ramirez went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The Guardians did all their damage in the second inning, with Ramirez contributing an RBI single to the seven-run rally. The third baseman has gone 5-for-16 with three steals, three RBI and four runs scored over four games since he returned from the paternity list.       Advice: Moreno hurt his thumb on a slide early in Friday's contest but remained in the game long enough to tally his third homer of the season. He was ultimately pulled in the sixth inning. Manager Torey Lovullo noted after the contest that Moreno is likely to avoid the injured list, but the team will see how he is feeling Saturday before any final determination is made.       Diamondbacks’ manager Torey Lovullo told reporters after Friday’s game that X-rays came back negative for any structural damage on the injured thumb of catcher Gabriel Moreno.

      Advice: Lovullo is hopeful that Moreno will be able to avoid a stint on the injured list but noted that he’ll have to wait and see how he’s feeling on Saturday morning to make a full determination.
