    • Homers twice in win
Candelario went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in a 4-2 win over the Guardians on Wednesday.

Advice: Candelario hit a solo home run off Tanner Bibee in the first inning and followed it up with a three-run homer off Bibee to give the Reds a 4-2 lead in the sixth. He then added a single in the eighth. Candelario has been mashing in June, hitting .340 with five homers and 11 RBI through 11 contests. While Candelario's .243 season average still isn't great, he now has 11 home runs and 31 RBI in 248 plate appearances and is hitting in the heart of a hot Reds lineup. • Jeimer Candelario powers Reds past Guardians
Jeimer Candelario blasted a pair of homers and drove in four runs on Wednesday night, accounting for all of the Reds’ offense in a 4-2 victory over the Guardians.

Advice: The 30-year-old infielder opened the scoring in the contest with a 404-foot (104.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Tanner Bibee. He then put the Reds ahead to stay with a 343-foot (96.9 mph EV) three-run blast that chased Bibee from the game in the sixth inning. Candelario also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4. On the season, he’s now slashing .243/.306/.476 with 11 homers and 31 RBI. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:08 pm

    • Michael King strikes out 12 on Wednesday vs. A’s
Michael King struck out a season-high 12 and allowed two runs over five innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Athletics.

Advice: King turned in one of his best outings of the year, generating an eye-popping 19 swinging strikes -- including 15 combined on his changeup and sweeper combination — and finished with a near-elite 39 percent CSW. The 29-year-old righty has allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven of his last eight starts since May 4. He’ll bring a solid 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 95/34 K/BB ratio across 83 innings (15 appearances, 14 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Tuesday against the red-hot Phillies. • Rebounds for sixth win
Lopez (6-6) earned the win Wednesday over Colorado, allowing two runs on five hits over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: It was an encouraging outing for Lopez after he allowed seven runs and six walks in a loss to the Yankees in his last start. The right-hander notably didn't allow a free pass Wednesday. Overall, it's been an inconsistent first quarter of the season for Lopez -- his ERA sits at 5.33 with a 1.21 WHIP and 84:17 K:BB across 14 starts (76 innings). The 28-year-old Lopez is currently lined up to face the Rays at home early next week in his next outing. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:30 pm

    • Camilo Doval quiets Astros to collect 12th save
Camilo Doval tossed a perfect ninth inning on Wednesday against the Astros to collect his 12th save of the season.

Advice: Doval was tasked with protecting a two-run lead and needed only nine pitches (eight strikes) to slam the door. The hard-throwing 26-year-old stopper has reeled off four consecutive scoreless appearances since June 7 and converted 12 of his 14 save opportunities this season. He’s struggled a bit from a run-prevention standpoint, but remains one of the better closing options in the fantasy landscape. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:21 pm

    • Sitting against southpaw
Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Advice: With lefty Nick Lodolo on the hill for Cincinnati, the lefty-hitting Naylor will retreat to the bench. Austin Hedges will step in for Naylor behind the plate. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:14 pm

    • Pablo López strikes out five in win over Rockies
Pablo López allowed two runs over five innings on Wednesday in a win over the Rockies.

Advice: López wasn’t quite as dominant as fantasy managers might’ve expected considering he was facing a Rockies squad that historically-speaking tends to struggle away from Coors Field. However, he managed to limit Colorado’s lineup to just five hits, including a solo homer by Ryan McMahon, in a much-needed rebound performance after being shelled for seven runs his last time out against the Yankees. He recorded five strikeouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. He’s been much better from an underlying numbers standpoint than his surface stats would suggest and remains an upper-echelon fantasy starter in the current injury-plagued landscape. He’ll carry an inflated 5.33 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 84/17 K/BB ratio across 76 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Tuesday against the Rays. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:04 pm

    • Jeimer Candelario drives in a run in loss
Jeimer Candelario went 1-for-4 with an RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Candelario got the scoring started with a run-scoring double off of Triston McKenzie in the first inning for his 27th RBI of the season. The 30-year-old has been picking it up of late, slashing .277/.338/.585 over his last 16 games with five home runs, nine runs, nine RBI, and two steals. Given his big contract in the offseason, he figures to remain in the Reds lineup every day even when Noelvi Marte comes back, shifting back to being the primary first baseman. Now could be the time to scoop up the Candy Man if he’s still on waivers in your league. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:36 pm

    • Bobby Miller to make rehab start Thursday at AAA
Bobby Miller will make another minor league rehab start on Thursday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Miller will return to Los Angeles if he gets through this latest rehab outing without any issues. The 25-year-old righty has been on the shelf since mid-April due to right shoulder inflammation, but it sounds like he’s really close to making it back. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:12 pm
