Tyler Glasnow whiffs 10 again in no-decision
Tyler Glasnow struck out 10 while allowing just one run in seven innings against the Padres on Friday, but he didn’t factor into the decision.
Advice: Glasnow and King were both outstanding Friday, and both come out of the effort with hard-luck no-decisions. Glasnow allowed just one hit, but that one hit was a solo homer from Luis Campusano in the third inning. This makes back-to-back starts for Glasnow where he’s gotten double-digit strikeouts, and he improved his K/BB to 73/15 with the aforementioned punchouts and two free passes. Expect Glasnow to pitch well again in his next outing, scheduled Wednesday against the Giants in San Francisco.
