    • Strikes out 11 on Friday
King allowed two hits and three walks while striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: King put four runners on base but also racked up eight strikeouts over his first three innings. He ended up missing out on the win after Yuki Matsui allowed the game-tying run in the eighth inning. King was unsteady late in April, but he's opened May with 13 scoreless innings. The right-hander is at a 3.67 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 54:24 K:BB through 49 innings over nine appearances (eight starts) this season. King is penciled in for a more favorable home matchup versus the Rockies his next time out. Rotowire.com Today, 9:34 pm

    • Excellent in no-decision
Glasnow allowed a run on one hit and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Glasnow was excellent, with the one hit against him being a Luis Campusano solo home run in the third inning. This was the fourth time this season Glasnow has struck out 10 or more batters, and it was also his fourth straight quality start. The right-hander trimmed his ERA to 2.53 with a 0.86 WHIP and a 73:15 K:BB over 57 innings across nine starts. Glasnow is dialed in, but his workload will be something to keep an eye on -- he's never pitched more than 120 innings in a season, often due to injuries. He's projected to make his next start in San Francisco. Rotowire.com Today, 9:29 pm

    • Tyler Glasnow whiffs 10 again in no-decision
Tyler Glasnow struck out 10 while allowing just one run in seven innings against the Padres on Friday, but he didn’t factor into the decision.

Advice: Glasnow and King were both outstanding Friday, and both come out of the effort with hard-luck no-decisions. Glasnow allowed just one hit, but that one hit was a solo homer from Luis Campusano in the third inning. This makes back-to-back starts for Glasnow where he’s gotten double-digit strikeouts, and he improved his K/BB to 73/15 with the aforementioned punchouts and two free passes. Expect Glasnow to pitch well again in his next outing, scheduled Wednesday against the Giants in San Francisco. Rotoworld Today, 8:58 pm

    • Michael King allows two hits, whiffs 11 vs. LAD
Michael King struck out 11 over seven scoreless innings against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Sensational. King was excellent against the Diamondbacks on Saturday, but this was a different level for the 28-year-old. He did walk three, but he threw 74-of-106 pitches for strikes and was able to get the punchout if there was even a sniff of trouble. The right-hander now has a 3.67 ERA and 54/24 K/BB, and he’s shown why the Padres were adamant about acquiring his services in the Juan Soto trade. Sadly, King doesn’t get a win because his bullpen blew a 1-0 lead after he left. He should keep the good run going against the Rockies at home next week. Rotoworld Today, 8:58 pm

    • Brandon Pfaadt goes without a strikeout in loss
Brandon Pfaadt dropped to 1-3 after allowing three runs in six innings Friday against the Orioles.

Advice: Pfaadt managed to turn in a solid outing despite going without a strikeout tonight. He had never fanned fewer than three batters in 26 major league starts. Pfaadt’s ERA stands at 4.60. His 42/8 K/BB ratio in 47 innings is nice, but he’s looking a little too hittable with his velocity down one mph from last year. Rotoworld Today, 8:32 pm
    • Bobby Miller (shoulder) throws sim game Thursday
Bobby Miller (shoulder) threw two innings in a simulated game on Thursday without any issues.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander will repeat the process on Sunday. If all goes well then, he could be cleared to face hitters in a live bullpen session. He’s making slow and methodical progress in his recovery from inflammation in his right shoulder and could potentially be ready to rejoin the Dodgers’ rotation at the end of the month if everything goes according to plan. • George Springer sits due to illness on Friday
George Springer was held out of the Blue Jays’ starting lineup on Friday due to illness.

Advice: The 34-year-old picked up a bug during the Jays’ road trip and played through it on Wednesday, but manager John Schneider wanted to give him a day off on Friday. He’s considered day-to-day. Cavan Biggio will start in his place in right field and will bat seventh against Joe Ryan and the Twins. Rotoworld Today, 2:53 pm

    • Not among starters
Naylor is not included in the starting lineup for Friday's outing against the White Sox.

Advice: The lefty catcher will get some rest as the Guardians take on southpaw starter Garrett Crochet. Austin Hedges will take over at catcher and bat ninth in place of Naylor. Rotowire.com Today, 1:24 pm

    • Not feeling well
Springer is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins due to an illness, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Davis Schneider is leading off and starting in left field Friday, and manager John Schneider said "we'll see" regarding the leadoff spot moving forward. Springer has hit there in all 35 of his starts the season, but his .206/.276/.298 slash line could soon prompt a move down the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 1:15 pm
