    • Cole Ragans to start on Sunday against Padres
Cole Ragans will start on Sunday against the Padres.

Advice: Ragans will take the ball on regular rest for Sunday’s series finale against San Diego with Brady Singer needing some extra rest as he continues to recover from an illness. Royals manager Matt Quatraro told reporters Saturday that Singer could slot into the rotation for Wednesday’s contest against the Guardians. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:39 am

    • Pablo López strong for seven in beating Astros
Pablo López pitched seven innings of one-run ball Friday as the Twins downed the Astros 6-1.

Advice: López generated 17 missed swings tonight, 12 of them with his fastball. His peripherals would suggest that he’s had pretty awful luck this season, but he was in close to peak form tonight. The one run he allowed came on an Alex Bregman 348-foot homer that Statcast said was only a homer in four ballparks. Rotoworld Friday, 11:40 pm
    • Returns to form in win
Lopez (5-5) earned the win in Friday's 6-1 victory over Houston, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out nine.

Advice: Lopez appeared to be in the form that led him to a seventh place finish in the 2023 AL Cy Young race. The Minnesota right-hander generated an impressive 17 whiffs en route to his six punchouts while lowering his season ERA to 4.84 in 67 innings. The lone blemish on his evening was the 348-foot solo shot Alex Bregman hit into Houston's Crawford Boxes in the fourth inning. Lopez faces a difficult test in his next start -- he's lined up to face a formidable Yankees lineup in New York next week. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:36 pm
    • Tagged for 12 hits in loss
Harrison (4-2) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on 12 hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Harrison's final line ultimately could've looked a lot worse, as he surrendered a career-most 12 hits. The 22-year-old southpaw's hit a rough patch of late, giving up three or more runs over five innings in each of his last four starts. Harrison's ERA is up to 4.15 through 12 starts (65 innings) this year with a 1.40 WHIP and 60:22 K:BB. He'll look to get on track in his next outing, currently lined up for early next week in Arizona. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:21 pm

    • Kyle Harrison allows two homers in loss to Phillies
Kyle Harrison surrendered four runs over five innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Harrison was knocked around for a staggering 12 hits, including homers by Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos, so it’s pretty remarkable that he managed to limit the damage to just four runs over five frames of work. He racked up five strikeouts and only handed out one free pass. The 22-year-old southpaw will bring a respectable 4.15 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 60/22 K/BB ratio across 65 innings (12 starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the division-rival Diamondbacks. • Another victory
Gausman (4-3) picked up the win Tuesday against the White Sox, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gausman was sharp Tuesday, yielding one run and fewer than five hits for a second straight start to tally his fourth win in his last six outings. However, he snapped a streak of four consecutive outings with six or more Ks and yielded three extra-base hits. Gausman has allowed one or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts but owns a 4.14 ERA on the year. He's tentatively scheduled for a start against Baltimore on Monday. • Fans eight in quality start
Glasnow came away with a no-decision in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of the Mets, allowing two runs on two hits and four walks over seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: The right-hander produced his eighth quality start of the season while fanning at least eight batters for the sixth time in his last seven trips to the mound, but Glasnow exited the game in line for the loss before the Dodgers rallied late and eventually won it in the 10th inning. Glasnow will take a 3.04 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 95:21 K:BB through 74 innings into his next outing, which lines up to come early next week in Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:29 am

    • Gausman allows one earned run in win over ChiSox
Kevin Gausman allowed one earned and four hits over six innings while earning the win on Tuesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Gausman didn’t face much resistance in this one, as the Blue Jays grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the second, which more or less put Gausman in cruise control against one of the league’s worst offenses. Gausman earned a win in three of his five stars this month, and will have a chance to start June off on a strong note when he makes his next scheduled start on Monday against the Orioles. • Goes seven innings in loss
Pfaadt (2-4) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings to take the loss versus the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Pfaadt covered at least six innings for the sixth start in a row, but this was the third time this year he's allowed at least four earned runs -- Josh Smith had an RBI single in the third inning and Corey Seager continued his power surge with a three-run home run in the fifth. Pfaadt is now at a 4.16 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 63:12 K:BB through 67 innings across 11 starts. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Mets. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:15 pm
