• Heads out on rehab assignment
DeLuca (hand) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Thursday.

Advice: DeLuca was hitless in four at-bats in his first game with the Bulls but did drive in a run on a groundout. It was the 25-year-old's first game since he fractured his right hand back on March 10, so he presumably will require a handful of rehab contests before joining the Rays. • Blasts three-run shot
Bart went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer and two runs scored in Thursday's loss to the Brewers while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Bart put the Pirates ahead with a three-run shot in the bottom of the first, giving the catcher his third home run in just seven games this season. He also drew a two-out walk in the fifth before coming around to score the tying run on a Jack Suwinski double, marking Bart's first game this season with two runs scored. Furthermore, the backstop has now hit safely in six of his seven games and continues to make a strong case for more playing time with Yasmani Grandal (foot) sitting on the 10-day injured list. • Braves activate Ozzie Albies from 10-day IL
Braves activated 2B Ozzie Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Albies returns to the active roster following a stay on the injured list with a fractured right toe. It’s amazing that the 27-year-old needed just the minimum 10 days on the injured list before making his return with the injury he had. On top of that, he was doing fielding drills this past weekend to get ramped up for live action. He’ll be a boost for the Braves’ offense and for fantasy managers as he’s on pace for a career season with a .317/.386/.492 batting line in his first 15 games. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

  • Activated from injured list
Atlanta activated Albies (toe) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Advice: Albies missed just the minimum 10 days with a fractured right big toe and will not require a rehab assignment before rejoining his teammates for the weekend series against the Guardians. The 27-year-old has put together a .317/.386/.492 batting line with two home runs and two stolen bases through his first 15 contests this season. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago

  • Swipes first bag
Vaught went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Thursday's loss to the Twins.

Advice: Vaughn singled in his first trip to the plate before also stealing his first base of the season, but was left stranded. He added a double in his next at-bat, then came around to score on a Paul DeJong single to put Chicago up 2-0, marking the first baseman's only multi-hit performance since April 9 against the Guardians. Vaughn is still batting just .167 following the two-hit effort, though he has hit safely in three of his last four games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:37 am
  • Three hits, two RBI in win
Hoskins went 3-for-5 in Thursday's win over the Pirates with a double, two RBI and a stolen base.

Advice: Hoskins singled home William Contreras in his second at-bat to tie the game at 3-3 and later added an RBI double in the fifth to give Milwaukee a one-run lead. The first baseman has now recorded at least one RBI in four of his last six games, while Thursday marked his second three-hit effort of the season. With that said, he's still batting just .219 in April with four homers and 13 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 4:08 am

  • Goes yard, scores three times
Contreras went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, three runs scored and a stolen base while also drawing a walk in Thursday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: Contreras launched a solo homer off Mitch Keller in the top of the first to give Milwaukee an early lead and then came around to score the team's third run on a Rhys Hoskins single in the third after drawing a walk. He then added a single in the fifth before going on to steal his second base of the season. The catcher scored three runs in the contest, a mark he's hit three times now in the early season, while also recording multiple hits for the second consecutive game. Contreras is now batting .373 in April with five homers, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 am
  • Goes deep for team's lone run
Trevino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday in a loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Trevino plated an early run for New York with his solo blast in the second inning, but the team's offense did not score again. Still, the homer continued a strong recent stretch of offense by the backstop, as he's built an eight-game hitting streak during which he's batting .423/.464/.654. The hot span hasn't moved Trevino out of a timeshare behind the plate, however -- both he and Austin Wells have played three games over New York's past six contests. Rotowire.com Today, 12:15 am
  • Swats first homer
Nevin went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Thursday in a 3-1 victory versus the Yankees.

Advice: Nevin's two-run blast in the third inning proved to be the winning hit, as neither team crossed the plate after that point. The long ball was his first this season and just his sixth through 375 big-league plate appearances. Nevin hasn't flashed much power in the big leagues thus far and has never stolen a base as a major leaguer, so his upside is quite limited, though he's at least put together a decent .286/.355/.375 slash line this season.
