• Most productive game of season
Walls went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Walls recorded just his second multi-hit game in 12 starts this season, and the performance brought his average to .175 on the campaign. Despite his struggles at the plate, Walls has made five consecutive starts at shortstop, all of which have come against right-handed pitchers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:50 pm

  • Key role in win
Marte went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Twins.

Advice: Marte's homer opened the scoring in the first inning and he added a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh to put the Diamondbacks ahead for good. The second baseman had gone just 2-for-16 over his previous four contests before this multi-hit effort. He's been a big contributor throughout the campaign with a .280/.340/.507 slash line, 16 homers, 46 RBI, 51 runs scored and three stolen bases across 76 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:03 pm

  • Brett Wisely finishes 2-for-4 in Giants’ victory
Brett Wisely went 2-for-4 with a run scored from the leadoff spot in the Giants’ 5-1 defeat of the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Wisely’s second hit, a 403-foot double to left-center, would have been a homer in 29 of 30 ballparks and really a no-doubter in most of them. Oracle Park isn’t built that way, though. Wisely, who has turned into the Giants’ shortstop versus righties, is batting an impressive .301/.333/.441 in 99 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:43 pm

  • Ketel Marte hits two-run homer in Arizona’s win
Ketel Marte hit a two-run homer in the first and singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh as the Diamondbacks edged the Twins 5-4 on Tuesday.

Advice: Marte has 16 homers, which is already the third highest total of his career. He’s going to deserve to be the NL’s starting second baseman in the All-Star Game this year, but since the Padres got away with listing Luis Arraez at second after turning him into a full-time first baseman, there’s still some doubt who will get the nod. • Active in win
Palacios went 2-for-4 with an RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 11-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Palacios doubled and scored in the second inning and then walked and scored in the sixth. He had a huge seventh inning, hitting an RBI single, stealing second and coming around to score for the third time in the contest. Palacios has tallied three multi-hit efforts and two steals in his past four games and is now hitting .249 with four home runs, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 197 at-bats in 2024. • Gleyber Torres continues to deal with groin issue
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday’s game that Gleyber Torres’s failure to run hard to first base in the eighth was a product of his groin issue.

Advice: Torres left Thursday and missed Friday’s game with the groin problem before returning Saturday. While Boone let Torres off the hook for his apparent lack of hustle, he did say Torres needed to make a play he missed that gave the Mets two runs in the sixth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:15 pm
  • Leads offense in win
Ibanez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Ibanez continued a strong June, as he's now batting .314 this month with six RBI and six runs scored across 15 games. The utility player is batting a solid .284 overall, and while he's not providing a ton of power, he has been a solid bat for the Tigers. Ibanez's biggest question moving forward is playing time, though Detroit figures to find creative ways to get him into the lineup even if he's not locked into a regular starting role. • Brendan Rodgers drives in one in loss to Astros
Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.

Advice: Rodgers was responsible for two of the Rockies’ six hits on the night and drove in their only run when he plated Brenton Doyle in the eighth inning. Rodgers pushed his hitting streak to eight games in this one and is now slashing a sizzling .353/.343/.676 on the month with seven extra-base hits and nine RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:58 pm
  • Nick Gordon scores game-winning run vs. Royals
Nick Gordon went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Gordon’s RBI single in the seventh inning tied the game at 1-1, giving the Marlins life after being shut down by Seth Lugo for six innings. Gordon’s single paved the way for him to later score on an RBI single by Jazz Chisholm, which was enough for the Marlins to earn a surprise win over the Royals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm
