• Alec Burleson homers, plates five in blowout win
Alec Burleson went 3-for-4 with two homers and five RBI on Saturday, leading the Cardinals to a 9-4 blowout victory over the Giants.

Advice: Burleson also stole a base in this one, just for good measure. It was arguably a career day for the 25-year-old corner outfielder as he notched his first multi-homer performance in the big leagues by taking former teammate Jordan Hicks deep for a three-run shot in the fourth inning before tacking on a two-run blast off reliever Sean Hjelle a couple frames later. He’ll continue to play regularly against right-handed pitching and is quietly emerging as a potential 25-plus homer threat, which is pretty remarkable considering he looked like nothing more than a bench player last year in his full-season debut. • Guarantees return Sunday
Profar (knee) is available off the bench Saturday against the Brewers and said that he will "100 percent" be playing in Sunday's series finale, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Profar was removed from Friday's game with a left knee issue and was held out of the starting lineup Saturday. However, it sounds like he'll be back in action Sunday and appears to have avoided a significant injury. He's in the midst of a breakout campaign at the age of 31, slashing .320/.415/.483 with 10 home runs across 317 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 1:49 pm

  • Held out of starting lineup
Profar (knee) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Profar was removed for a pinch runner late in Friday's game due issues with his knee. Considering he's dealt with an injury to his left knee recently, his removal could be precautionary. However, Tyler Wade will fill left field Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 1:19 pm

  • Jurickson Profar (knee) not in lineup on Saturday
Jurickson Profar (knee) is not in the Padres’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s matchup against the Brewers.

Advice: The 31-year-old outfielder aggravated his left knee injury during Friday’s battle against the Brewers. The good news is that he hasn’t been placed on the injured list. Profar has been playing through the knee issue for a while now and believes that he’ll be able to return to the lineup for Sunday’s series finale. He’s considered day-to-day. • Resting Saturday
Renfroe is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Renfroe will take a seat Saturday after returning from the injured list Friday, going 0-for-3 with one walk and two strikeouts. The lefty-hitting Adam Frazier will start in right field Saturday and bat in the leadoff spot against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:02 am

  • Extends hitting streak with homer
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Friday against the Rays.

Advice: Reynolds was in jeopardy of having his hitting streak snapped but smacked his 11th homer of the season to begin the eighth inning. He now has a hit in 18 consecutive games, a stretch in which he's batting .342 with four long balls, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:44 am

  • Jurickson Profar dealing with left knee issue
Jurickson Profar was removed from Friday’s game against the Brewers with left knee patellar tendinitis.

Advice: Profar has been playing through patellar tendinitis in his left knee and appears to have re-aggravated the issue during Friday’s contest against the Brewers. The 31-year-old was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning and there’s wasn’t much of an update on his status following the contest. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a couple days off this weekend to rest and recover, so fantasy managers should be prepared. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:10 am

  • Delivers winning knock
Ward went 2-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Ward put the Angels ahead with an RBI single in the 10th inning and then stole second. The Angels didn't add to their lead, but they were able to hold on. With just two multi-hit efforts in June, Ward has been a bit disappointing after he started the season in good form at the plate. He's slashing .240/.325/.419 with 12 home runs, three steals, 38 RBI and 35 runs scored over 73 contests, but just one of those long balls has been among his three extra-base hits in June. • Two steals in win
Rengifo went 1-for-4 with two stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Rengifo reached the 20-steal mark for the season Friday after totaling just 18 thefts over his first five campaigns combined. The infielder has been good in June, batting .279 (19-for-68) with eight steals on 11 attempts, though he has just one extra-base hit this month. For the year, he's at a .311/.360/.425 slash line with four home runs, 20 RBI, 28 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple through 59 contests. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:45 pm
