    Advice: Espinal was one of two Reds with multiple hits in the game, and it was his first such performance since April 24. The infielder hit a poor .121 (4-for-33) over 11 contests in between multi-hit efforts. He's slashing .186/.245/.244 with one home run, 12 RBI, six runs scored and five steals over 30 games this season. Espinal has sat out the last four games where the Reds have faced a right-handed pitcher, though he's still been in the lineup against the last three southpaws they've faced.     India went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

    Advice: India posted his second multi-hit effort of May, but he's still hitting a modest .216 (8-for-37) for the month. All three of his hits Sunday were singles. The second baseman is up to .225/.331/.310 slash line with two home runs, four steals, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and a triple over 35 contests this season.     Julien went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Julien led the game off with a single in the top of the first inning before later adding another base knock in the top of the eighth, stealing second base and scoring on an RBI double by Max Kepler in the frame. It's not a great line, but the second baseman could still find his power again with his home games at hitter-friendly Coors Field, though he's also sporting a 25.0 percent strikeout rate, his highest in four years.     Jake Cronenworth blasted his seventh home run of the season on Sunday, helping to power the Padres to victory over the visiting Dodgers.

    Advice: The 30-year-old infielder went back-to-back with teammate Fernando Tatis Jr. off of Walker Buehler in the opening inning of this one, with Cronenworth’s blast traveling 408 feet (106.5 mph EV). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. For the season, he’s now slashing a healthy .285/.349/.503 to go along with the aforementioned seven long balls and 27 RBI.     Mookie Betts went 2-for-4 with a double as the Dodgers were shut out by the Padres on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

    Advice: As a team, the Dodgers tallied just four hits in the contest, with Betts accounting for half of them on his own — including their lone extra-base knock. He smacked a one-out double off of Yu Darvish in the sixth inning but was left stranded there. He then singled off of Wandy Peralta with two outs in the eighth inning.   • Dealing with wrist injury
    Kim was hit by a pitch on his left wrist in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Kim took a 94 mph fastball from Walker Buehler off his left wrist in the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately exiting the contest the following frame. The infielder underwent x-rays on his arm following the contest and they came back negative according to manager Mike Shildt, which bodes well for Kim moving forward.   • Brendan Rodgers gets first career stolen base
    Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a walk and his first career stolen base Sunday against the Rangers.

    Advice: Rodgers actually went 12-for-15 stealing bases in Double-A in 2018. Since then, he’d gone 66 games in Triple-A and 352 in the majors without ever attempting even one.
