    Thomas (hamstring) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Reno on Tuesday and could rejoin the Diamondbacks this weekend, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Thomas began what is expected to be the final stage of his rehab assignment, playing seven innings in center field while going 1-for-3 with an RBI for Reno. The outfielder has 18 plate appearances thus far on rehab, with most of those coming in the Arizona Complex League. He could get more looks against advanced pitching while with the Aces over the next two days before potentially rejoining Arizona on Friday in time for the weekend series against the Athletics.     Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win versus the White Sox.

    Advice: The Dodgers' designated hitter crushed Chris Flexen's fifth pitch of the game 376 feet for a leadoff homer. Ohtani has now batted atop the order eight consecutive games while hitting .419 (13-for-31) with five homers, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored. The Japanese superstar may be on his way to a third MVP campaign, as he's slashing .318/.395/.626 with 24 homers, 63 runs scored, 60 RBI and 16 steals over 356 plate appearances this season.     Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.



    Advice: Chris Flexen’s fifth pitch of the night turned into a 400-foot homer by Ohtani to kick off the first inning. Ohtani’s homer extended his RBI streak to nine games, which ties the Dodgers’ single-season record.   • Aaron Judge hits grand slam in loss
    Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

    Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick.     Advice: India is enjoying a tremendous month of June, going 26-for-72 (.361) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and three steals. India has also been leading off since TJ Friedl went on the IL, which is more good news for his fantasy value.     Moreno (thumb) will catch Zac Gallen's (hamstring) bullpen session Thursday, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

    Advice: A sprained left thumb forced Moreno onto the injured list Saturday, and Wednesday's bullpen session will allow him to get a feel for how his thumb feels in his glove after a few days of recovery.     Alek Thomas (hamstring) will resume a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Reno.

    Advice: Thomas hit pause on his rehab assignment last week after experiencing some renewed hamstring soreness, but he’s apparently feeling well enough to get back into game action already. The 24-year-old had been out since late March due to a hamstring strain and several setbacks along the way during his rehabilitation process.     O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
