    • Bailey Ober hit around in no-decision against PIT
Bailey Ober allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: This now marks five straight mediocre starts for Ober, who has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 23 1/3 innings over those five starts. It was easy to explain away Ober’s poor stats early in the season when he only had one bad start, but this has been a rough stretch. The tall right-hander saw his velocity up across his entire pitch mix today, and the Pirates certainly didn’t hit him overly hard, but he did allow seven hard-hit baseballs. There are no glaring red flags, and you have to keep Ober in your lineup for next week’s game against the Athletics. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:22 pm

    • Punches out 10 in win
Crochet (5-4) yielded two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out 10 and earning a win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Crochet gave up a pair of runs in the third inning but only one was earned due to his own throwing error. He's produced quality starts in four straight appearances and six of his last seven. Crochet generated 17 whiffs and racked up double-digit strikeouts for the fourth time this season. Since April 29, he's produced a ridiculous 1.37 ERA with a 63:9 K:BB in eight starts. Crochet will carry a 3.33 ERA into his next start, which is expected to be in Seattle next week. • Garrett Crochet fans 10 as White Sox snap skid
Garrett Crochet yielded two runs — one earned — and struck out 10 in six innings as the White Sox defeated the Red Sox 7-2 to snap a 14-game losing streak.

Advice: The White Sox’s previous win also, not coincidentally, came in a Crochet start on May 21. He has six of the White Sox’s 16 victories on the year. Crochet reached 10 strikeouts for the fourth time this season while allowing two runs or fewer for the eighth straight start. He’s due to face the Mariners next. Rotoworld Friday, 8:31 pm
    • Sharp in third win
Kikuchi (3-5) earned the win Thursday over Baltimore, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Kikuchi held the Orioles scoreless through his first five innings, ultimately allowing a lone run on an Adley Rutschman solo home run in the sixth. It was an encouraging rebound effort from the 32-year-old left-hander, who'd given up 10 earned runs over just 8.1 innings in his previous two outings. Kikuchi lowered his ERA to 3.48 on the campaign with a 1.22 WHIP and 71:15 K:BB across 13 starts (72.1 innings). Kikuchi is currently scheduled to face the Brewers on the road in his next outing. • Yusei Kikuchi bounces back with six strong in victory
Yusei Kikuchi allowed just a run over six innings against the Orioles on Thursday to pick up a win.

Advice: Kikuchi struck out six while scattering four hits with just one walk. It’s a vastly improved effort from the one Saturday against the Pirates when the southpaw allowed six runs on nine hits in that loss. Consistency has never been Kikuchi’s forte, but outside of a solo homer allowed to Adley Rutschman, this was a reminder of what the 32-year-old is capable of. He’s lined up to face the Brewers next week. Rotoworld Thursday, 12:37 pm

    • Registers another quality start
Berrios allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters over six innings in a no-decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.

Advice: Berrios didn't do much in the strikeout department with just two punchouts, but he was nonetheless very effective in recording his fifth straight quality start. The right-hander has just one win during that span but has put up a very solid 2.73 ERA. Aside from an eight-run, 3.2 inning blowup against Philadelphia on May 7, Berrios has been a model of consistency this season, allowing three or fewer runs in each of his other 12 starts. On the campaign, he's registered a 2.80 ERA along with a 60:21 K:BB across 80.1 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:32 pm

    • José Berríos delivers quality start versus Orioles
José Berríos allowed two runs over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Orioles.

Advice: Berríos delivered a sixth straight quality start, though he has only one win during the span. Tonight’s outing did nothing at all for his FIP, which has lagged way behind his ERA all year, but he continued to defy his peripherals in finishing the game with two strikeouts, three walks and a homer allowed (a solo shot to Anthony Santander). He’s 5-4 with a 2.80 ERA. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:18 pm

    • Recent struggles continue
Ober (5-4) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on three hits, including a home run, and four walks over five innings against the Yankees. He struck out two.

Advice: Ober wasn't sharp against a Yankees lineup that is on a roll. The outing continued his recent struggles, as he has a 7.58 ERA with a 15:8 K:BB in his last 19 innings. Ober hasn't thrown more than five innings in any of his last four starts, making him a risky option in his next start, which lines up to come this weekend in Pittsburgh. • Another strong outing
Sanchez allowed one run on four hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision against the Brewers on Tuesday. He struck out three.

Advice: Sanchez has now held opponents to two runs or fewer in five of his past six outings and one or fewer in seven of his last 10. The left-hander's ERA is down to 2.71 on the year with a 1.34 WHIP and 59:21 K:BB across 12 starts (66.1 innings). Sanchez is currently lined up for a road matchup with the Red Sox next week in his next outing. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:42 pm
