    • Collects three hits
Paredes went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI double during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes plated Josh Lowe and Randy Arozarena on a first-inning double to give the Rays an early lead. However, Tampa Bay wouldn't score again in the game, going 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position outside of Paredes' double. The third baseman has generated multiple hits in five of his last 10 games and leads the Rays in home runs and RBI on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:48 pm

    • Pitches well before weather delay
Lynn allowed one unearned run on two hits and struck out five without walking a batter over six innings versus the Orioles on Tuesday before the game was suspended due to inclement weather in the sixth inning.

Advice: The game will be completed prior to Wednesday's regularly-scheduled contest, though Lynn's involvement is almost certainly done. This was arguably his best outing of the season, and it's impressive he did it against an offense as strong as Baltimore. Through 51.1 innings over 10 starts, Lynn has a 3.68 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB. The veteran right-hander's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Reds. • Orioles-Cardinals suspended, to resume Wednesday
Tuesday’s game between the Orioles and Cardinals was suspended due to rain with the score tied at 1-1 in the sixth inning.

Advice: It’ll be picked back up at 11:15 a.m. CDT on Wednesday. Lance Lynn allowed only an unearned run over six innings before the game was delayed. He still could finish with the win if the Cardinals score in the bottom of the sixth and hold the lead from there. Otherwise, he’ll end up with his seventh no-decision in 10 starts this year. • Locks down ninth save
Alvarado earned the save in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers, allowing one hit while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: The Rangers got the tying run to the plate with one out in the ninth after an error and a Leody Taveras base hit. However, Alvarado would proceed to strike out Marcus Semien and Corey Seager, picking up his ninth save in a 5-2 win. While the Phillies have utilized a modified committee approach to the ninth inning, the left-handed Alvarado has established himself as their preferred closing option. His ERA sits at 3.54 with a 1.03 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB across 20.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:19 pm
    • José Alvarado closes out win for Phillies
José Alvarado pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in the Phillies’ 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Alvarado did allow a hit, but he also struck out two and was in no real danger in the inning as he picked up his ninth save of the year. Despite it seeming like the Phillies would go to a closer-by-committee situation earlier in the year, Alvarado has recorded four of the team’s six saves during the month and has now allowed eight hits while striking out six and walking none in 8 2/3 innings. We wouldn’t go so far as to say the job is fully his, but he’s clearly far out in front of the pack. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:10 pm
    • José Ramirez has two hits, HR in win over Mets
José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time. • Homer, three RBI in win
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an RBI double in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: Ramirez extended Cleveland's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-out double before cranking a two-run homer off Adrian Houser in the fifth, his 12th of the year. The 31-year-old Ramirez has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs and 13 RBI in his last eight contests. His slash line is up to .258/.305/.495 with 44 RBI, 31 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 210 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:33 pm

    • Isaac Paredes drives in two on three-hit night
Isaac Paredes went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes singled home two runs in the bottom of the first to give the Rays an early lead. Unfortunately, it would be the only two runs the Rays would score on the evening, as the lineup remained limited for much of the afternoon despite Paredes’ three-hit night. The veteran infielder has totaled 14 hits in his last 10 games and is hitting a solid .314 on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm

    • Bobby Miller (shoulder) set for rehab start Sunday
Bobby Miller (shoulder) faced hitters on Tuesday in a three-inning simulated game at Dodger Stadium.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters afterwards that Miller will make a minor league rehab start on Sunday for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty will likely require a handful of rehab outings to build up his pitch count and stamina as he works his way back from right shoulder inflammation that put him on the shelf back in mid-April.
