    • Kyle Tucker homers twice to lead Astros
Kyle Tucker hit his 16th and 17th homers before scoring the winning run in the 10th as the Astros bested the Angels 6-5 on Tuesday.

Advice: Tucker’s homers couldn’t have been much different. The first was a 340-foot shot to the opposite field that would have a homer in Houston and nowhere else, according to Statcast. The second was a no-doubter that was pulled 407 feet to right. Tucker now leads the majors in homers by one over Gunnar Henderson. His 1.074 OPS puts him behind only Shohei Ohtani. • Another scorelesss start
Crochet (5-4) picked up the win Tuesday against Toronto, allowing two hits and one walk with four strikeouts over six scoreless innings.

Advice: Crochet has tossed 17 consecutive scoreless innings and earned a victory in each of his last four starts. While he fanned fewer than six batters for the first time in five starts, the 25-year-old retired the first 13 batters he faced. Since his ERA peaked at 6.37 on April 24, Crochet has yielded three runs over 28.0 innings to lower his ERA to 3.75 overall. He's lined up to close out the two-start week Sunday against the Orioles. • Corey Seager homers in loss to Phillies
Corey Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Seager crushed an offering from Jeff Hoffman 103.3 mph off the bat and 380 feet for his seventh home run of the year. It was also his 5th home run in 18 games in May as the power is starting to show up. However, Seager also had four strike outs on Tuesday and is still hitting just .246/.335/.383 on the season. The power surge is encouraging and hopefully it will lead to a full-on hot streak in the coming weeks. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm

    • Crochet throws six scoreless innings vs. Blue Jays
Garrett Crochet pitched six scoreless innings while striking out four in the White Sox win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: You couldn’t have asked for a much better outing out of Crochet. While it wasn’t a dominating performance, the lefty held the Blue Jays’ lineup to just two hits, while walking only one batter. Crochet continues to be one of the few bright spots for the White Sox, as he’s now won five games on the season and is sporting an era of 3.75. Crochet will look to earn his sixth win in his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Orioles. Rotoworld Today, 6:31 pm

    • Austin Riley remains out Tuesday vs. Cubs
Austin Riley (side) is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: No surprise here as Riley will miss his eighth straight contest due to an ongoing side issue after sitting out both contests of Monday’s doubleheader. There’s been zero indication that he’ll wind up requiring a trip to the injured list, despite the fact that he’s yet to resume swinging a bat. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but it doesn’t sound like the Braves are going to make a roster move at this juncture. It’ll be Zack Short drawing another start at the keystone on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field. Rotoworld Today, 1:41 pm

    • Remains out of lineup
Riley (intercostal) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Cubs.

Advice: Riley hasn't played since May 12 because of left intercostal inflammation. Atlanta has resisted putting its third baseman on the 10-day injured list so far, and at this point, it would appear the team will continue to wait things out. He was cleared to take soft swings in the batting cage Tuesday, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com, so Riley at least appears to be making progress in his recovery. Zack Short will again be at the hot corner Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:39 pm

    • Three hits in nightcap
D'Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the second game of Monday's doubleheader split with the Padres.

Advice: The veteran catcher sat out Sunday's game and Monday's matinee after taking a foul tip off his facemask Friday, but d'Arnaud cleared the concussion protocol and looked none the worse for wear in his return to the lineup. He's slashing .274/.350/.509 through 120 plate appearances this season with five homers and 17 RBI, but with Sean Murphy (oblique) expected to begin a rehab assignment this week, d'Arnaud's stint as Atlanta's No. 1 backstop could come to a close by the end of the month. • Improves to 7-1
Sale (7-1) earned the win over San Diego in the second game of Monday's doubleheader, allowing five hits and no walks while striking out nine batters over seven scoreless innings.

Advice: Sale dominated a Padres offense that had put up 18 runs in winning the first three games of the series, racking up 18 swinging strikes and registering his third straight scoreless outing. The left-hander fell one punchout shy of his second double-digit strikeout effort of the campaign and has now fanned at least nine batters in four straight appearances, recording exactly nine strikeouts three times during that span. Sale has accumulated 19 scoreless frames over his past three starts with a 28:1 K:BB during that span, giving Atlanta a dominant hurler to help ease the early-season loss of Spencer Strider (elbow). Sale is tied for second in the league with seven victories, ranks 11th with a 2.22 ERA and is tied for fifth with 70 punchouts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:26 pm

    • Goes yard in win
Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Smith hadn't homered since May 1, going 8-for-43 (.186) with two doubles and six RBI over the 13 games between long balls. That's a rare cold spell for the catcher, who is slashing .308/.381/.481 with five homers, 31 RBI, 26 runs scored and 12 doubles over 181 plate appearances. With Shohei Ohtani occupying the designated hitter spot, Smith has received routine days off this year, though he's still the primary catcher over backup Austin Barnes.
