      Williams (elbow) struck out three and allowed two earned runs on three hits and no walks over three-plus innings in his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Columbus.

      Advice: The Guardians seem to be building Williams up slowly as he works his way back from right elbow discomfort, an injury that first cropped up late in spring training after the 24-year-old hurt himself in a weighted-ball workout. Though Sunday's outing marked his third rehab outing, Williams was lifted after 50 pitches. He'll presumably need at least two more rehab starts to get stretched out to around 75 pitches, at which point the Guardians might be comfortable bringing him back from the 60-day injured list and inserting him into their rotation.       Estevez (1-3) got the win over the Astros on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning and striking out a batter in the process.

      Advice: Estevez was tasked with preserving a tie game, and did so without any trouble, sending the Astros hitters down in order on 12 pitches. He wound up as the winning pitcher after the Angels walked it off in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a two-run homer from Logan O'Hoppe. Estevez now has four consecutive scoreless appearances during which he's compiled three saves and a win.       Marte went 1-for-4 with a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Padres.

      Advice: Marte was back in Sunday's lineup after being scratched Saturday due to back soreness. His back didn't appear to hinder him, as he picked up just his second steal of the season after walking to leadoff the fourth.       Duran went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Duran, who had gone 14 days without a steal, posted a third straight game with a stolen base, including two Saturday. The outfielder has put himself in position to make an impact lately, going 11-for-33 with six walks (.425 OBP), four steals and 10 runs scored over the last eight contests.     • Likely to rejoin lineup Tuesday
      Red Sox manager Alex Cora suggested Sunday that he expects Devers (knee) to be back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener versus the Phillies, MLB.com reports. "He's OK," Cora said of Devers prior to Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning over the White Sox. "Hopefully one day [off], [then Monday's team off day] and be ready for Tuesday. If he feels like he's banged up, giving him a day will benefit him."

      Advice: Devers was lifted in the eighth inning of Saturday's 6-1 loss to Chicago after Cora said that the the third baseman's left knee was bothering him when he was getting ready to swing in the batter's box. Though Devers likely could have played Sunday if necessary, the Red Sox might have chosen to err on the side of caution and hold him out of the lineup after he had previously dealt with a bone bruise in the same knee in April that cost him five starts. After getting Sunday and Monday off, Devers should be ready to go for the three-game series with the Phillies, but fantasy managers may still want to confirm that he's starting Tuesday before locking him into lineups.       Yoshida (thumb) was the designated hitter for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday and went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.

      Advice: Yoshida served as Worcester's DH on back-to-back days to kick off a rehab assignment. Getting him time in the field is not as important as the plate appearances, as Yoshida is expected to be Boston's primary DH. He'll meet with the team's decision-makers Monday to evaluate his progression, per Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe. The club hopes he can be activated later this week.       Profar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Profar took Tommy Henry deep in the third inning for his second home run over his last three games. Since May 28, the switch hitter has racked up five multi-hit performances while slashing .349/.431/.605 with three homers, 11 RBI, six runs and a 6:9 BB:K in 50 plate appearances.       McArthur (2-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning to take the extra-inning loss versus the Mariners on Sunday.

      Advice: McArthur's tumultuous pitching continued after a brief three-inning scoreless streak to begin June. He got into trouble in the 10th inning Sunday, allowing an RBI single to Julio Rodriguez and a two-run single to Cal Raleigh. The Royals nearly overcame it with another comeback push, but that fell short. McArthur has given up multiple runs five times this season, with four of those outings coming since the start of May. He's at a 5.27 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB through 27.1 innings while adding 12 saves in 16 chances.     • James McArthur gives up three runs to take loss
      James McArthur took a loss to the Mariners on Sunday after allowing three runs — two earned — in the 10th inning.

      Advice: It was his third appearance in four days. McArthur had been perfect in three outings since a disastrous May 31 outing in which he gave up four runs without retiring a batter to take a blown save.
