      Advice: Bibee allowed just one unearned run through his first five innings, though he'd be charged with two runs in the sixth after allowing the first two batters to reach. Still, it was another decent effort from the 25-year-old right-hander -- Bibee now has seven strikeouts in back-to-back outings while pitching to a 2.12 ERA over his last five starts. Overall, he's 4-1 on the year with a 3.73 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 76:19 K:BB through 70 innings. Bibee's currently in line for a road matchup with the Reds in his next outing.       José Ramírez homered and drove in two runs in a loss Thursday to the Royals.

      Advice: J-Ram took Brady Singer deep for his 17th homer of the season. He also drove in a run with an infield single. The 31-year-old has been outstanding in 2024 with 60 RBI, nine stolen bases and an .887 OPS. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:12 pm
       
    • Tanner Bibee fans seven, allows two earned vs. KC
      Tanner Bibee allowed three runs — two of them earned — while firing five innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Thursday.

      Advice: Bibee struck out seven against one free pass, and he allowed six hits. The 25-year-old allowed a run in the first on a double to Vinnie Pasquantino, but he settle down nicely before being charged for a pair in the sixth without recording an out. Bibee has been a slight fantasy disappointment in 2024, but there’s still reason for optimism in both the short and long-term. He’s set to square off with the Reds in Cincinnati on Wednesday.       Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

      Advice: The shortstop produced his fourth multi-hit performance in the last seven games as he continues to heat up.       Advice: Carroll was moved down to the eighth in the order the last two games, but that is an adjustment against left-handers only. Last year's NL Rookie of the Year continues to struggle overall, slashing .192/.278/.279 through 259 plate appearances. There are indicators to explain his issues -- fewer barrels and an increase in pop-up rate jump out -- but he's retained good plate discipline and luck appears to be a factor.       Cease (5-5) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six over six innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Angels.

      Advice: Cease took his third loss in five outings. He was done in by the long ball again, as Nolan Schanuel took him deep to lead off the bottom of the first inning and Zach Neto added a two-run blast in the second. Cease has surrendered six homers during his five-start winless stretch. The right-hander is now at a 3.51 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 93:22 K:BB over 77 innings across 13 starts this season. He's not having a bad year by any means -- his 2.6 BB/9 is the best of his career. Cease will look to snap his skid in his next start, tentatively projected to be at home versus the Athletics.       Advice: Paredes did his damage early, tagging Braxton Garrett for RBI doubles in the first and third innings. With the pair of doubles, Paredes extended his hit streak to seven games.
