    Advice: Batting out of the No. 9 slot in the order, Neto produced the Angels' only run of the game with his sixth-inning solo shot to center field. It was the third homer of the campaign for the shortstop, all of which have come over his past 11 games.     Armenteros was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Tuesday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Armenteros was a lauded signee out of Cuba back in 2016 but has struggled to hit with any consistency since entering the A's organization. In his first taste of Triple-A Las Vegas this season, the 24-year-old has slashed only .133/.278/.250 with a 51.4 percent strikeout rate.     Advice: Lowe was placed on the 10-day injured list in mid-April and the team has been careful with him before getting him to a minor league assignment. He’ll likely need to get two or three games under his belt since he’s been out for almost a month, but he’ll be a much-needed addition to the Rays and fantasy managers that have him on rosters.     Garcia jammed his wrist Sunday sliding into second base and was replaced by pinch-hitter Ildemaro Vargas in the eighth inning, but he's not expected to miss much time, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

    Advice: The Nationals had an off day Monday, so Garcia might not end up missing a start, but it wouldn't be a surprise if manager Dave Martinez gave him an extra day to recover.     Advice: The 38-year-old veteran was taking swings prior to the weekend and will get his first rehab assignment since being placed on the injured list in early April. If all things go well, the Cardinals should expect Carpenter to be on the active roster in the coming days, but fantasy managers might want to consider other options if they need additional depth on their rosters.     Gordon went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Dodgers.

    Advice: The 28-year-old outfielder took Walker Buehler deep in the top of the second inning to briefly tie the game at 3-3, but Los Angeles took the lead for good in the bottom of the frame. Gordon has gone yard in back-to-back games and is up to five homers on the year in only 32 games -- a surprisingly power display for a player whose career high is nine home runs in 138 games, set in 2022.     Duran started in left field and went 0-for-2 in Monday's 4-2 win over Oakland.

    Advice: Duran made his first outfield start of 2024, coming against lefty Alex Wood. He was eventually pinch hit for by Evan Carter when a right-handed reliever entered the game. Duran, who started 32 games in the outfield last season, will be part of the crew that replaces the injured Wyatt Langford (hamstring), who is expected to miss three-to-four weeks. Duran is the lone righty-hitting outfielder in that replacement mix, joining lefties Carter and Travis Jankowski. Of the trio, Carter is expected to get the bulk of the starts. Duran wielded a capable backup bat in 2023, posting 14 home runs and a .767 OPS, but he's off to less enticing start this year (.226/.293/.264). Rotowire.com Today, 3:44 am

  • Corey Seager’s three-run homer leads Rangers
    Corey Seager hit a three-run homer in the eighth to lead the Rangers past the A’s 4-2 on Monday.

    Advice: The Rangers were still scoreless until Seager took Lucas Erceg deep in the eighth. They then added an insurance run in the ninth. The homer was Seager’s third in 33 games this season.
