If he doesn’t start picking it up soon, it’s fair to wonder how much longer the Cubs will keep him in the starting lineup. It’s hard to imagine Bregman remaining this bad, but he’s long posted subpar BABIPs and his typically average exit velocity numbers are worse than usual right now.
