      Advice: Scott faced no trouble from the Diamondback hitters Sunday. He sent them down in order on 15 pitches and struck out Eugenio Suarez to end the game. Scott has not allowed an earned run since April 14 and finished May with three wins, three saves and a hold in nine appearances.       Blanco (5-0) allowed a run on four hits and a walk over seven innings Sunday, striking out six and earning a win over the Athletics.

      Advice: Blanco fired five scoreless frames before coughing up a solo shot to Max Schuemann in the sixth inning. It was Blanco's first start since May 14 after serving a suspension for using a foreign substance. He forced 17 swinging strikes, including seven with his slider. It was the third time in nine starts that he's reached that number. Blanco lowered his ERA to a stellar 1.99 with a 51:22 K:BB through 54.1 frames.       Ronel Blanco allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

      Advice: Blanco struck out six and walked one, allowing just a solo home run to Max Schuemann in his outing. He induced 17 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He got right back to doing what he was doing after his controversial suspension, and he now has a 1.99 ERA on the season to go along with a 5-0 record.     • Tanner Scott slams door on Diamondbacks in ninth
      Tanner Scott slammed the door on the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning on Sunday, working a scoreless frame to protect a two-run lead and earn his seventh save of the season.

      Advice: Scott made it look awfully easy in this one, getting Randal Grichuk on a pop up to third base, Gabriel Moreno on a ground ball to shortstop and Eugenio Suarez on strikes to end it.       Blanco (suspension) was reinstated to the Astros' 26-man active roster Sunday and will start Houston's series finale versus the Athletics in Oakland.

      Advice: As had been reported days earlier, Blanco will immediately slot back into the Houston rotation now that he's completed his 10-game ban after he was deemed to have used a foreign substance during his most recent start May 14, also versus Oakland. Assuming Blanco was able to stay fully ramped up while he was serving his suspension, he shouldn't face many restrictions when he takes the hill Sunday. Blanco has been a revelation for the Astros this season, compiling a 4-0 record, 2.09 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB in 47.1 innings across eight starts. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:51 am

    • Stumbles against Brewers
      Crawford (2-3) took the loss Friday, coughing up six runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings as the Red Sox fell 7-2 to the Brewers. He struck out four.

      Advice: It was the worst performance of the season for the right-hander, who failed to complete five innings for the first time since April 5 and got tagged for more than three earned runs for just the second time in 11 starts.     • Kutter Crawford surrenders six runs in defeat
      Kutter Crawford lasted only 4 1/3 innings and gave up six runs Friday in a loss to the Brewers.

      Advice: Crawford allowed only five hard-hit balls on the night, but he couldn’t stop the bleeding in either the third or the fifth, giving up three runs each inning. After opening up with a 0.66 ERA in his first five starts, Crawford has come in at 4.64 in his last six outings. He’ll pitch in Baltimore next time out, making him a mediocre play in mixed leagues.       Rangers transferred LHP Cody Bradford from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

      Advice: The team needed space on the 40-man roster to call up Jesus Tinoco with Jon Gray (groin) going on the IL. Considering the Rangers are also expecting to get back Max Scherzer, Tyler Mahle, and Jacob deGrom at some point over the summer, Bradford may not have a spot in the rotation when he is eventually healthy enough to pitch.
