      Wilyer Abreu (ankle) told reporters Tuesday that he’s hopeful he can return from the injured list after the minimum 10 days passes.

      Advice: Abreu was placed on the 10-day injured list with his ankle sprain prior to Tuesday’s game. The outfielder told reporters that an MRI revealed a good deal of inflammation, but no structural damage. The Red Sox will obviously take the necessary precautions, but there’s a chance Abreu is back as the starting right fielder for the Red Sox in the middle of June. Rotoworld Today, 12:52 pm

      Abreu (right ankle sprain) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to June 3, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

      Advice: Abreu will be sidelined for a little over a week after spraining his ankle in the Red Sox's dugout Sunday. Per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe, Abreu is hoping to return after the minimum 10 days. Dating back to May 24, Mullins has produced just one hit in 20 at-bats, bringing his season-long slash line down to an abysmal .181/.225/.319 over 178 plate appearances.       Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in a loss to the Royals on Sunday.

      Advice: Tatis Jr. gave the Padres a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning with a run-scoring single that should have been enough to close this one out. It was his 31st RBI of the season and while the 25-year-old hasn’t truly exploded at any point this year, he could easily finish the season with 30 home runs and 20 steals, which is impressive work. If he can keep his batting average around .270, he should still put up fringe first-round value even though he hasn’t stood out as an elite fantasy player at any stretch this season.       Advice: The 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run scored before he suffered the injury and was replaced by a pinch hitter during the ninth inning.
