• Swats third homer
Taylor went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, an additional run and a walk against the Yankees on Wednesday in a 12-2 victory.

Advice: Taylor's biggest contribution was a three-run blast in the sixth inning that essentially put the game on ice, giving the Mets a 10-2 lead. It was the outfielder's first homer since April 24 -- a span of 42 games and 94 at-bats. Taylor has made two straight starts in right field with Starling Marte (knee) on the injured list, so he may have a chance to turn around what has so far been a quiet first season as a Met. • Smashes grand slam
Bauers went 1-for-4 with a grand slam during Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Rangers in 10 innings.

Advice: Bauers got the Brewers on the board in the third inning, plating Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich and Willy Adames on a grand slam off Nathan Eovaldi. The grand slam was the second of Bauers' career. Though he's been splitting time with Rhys Hoskins at first base, Bauers is batting .273 with nine RBI and seven runs in his last 18 games. • Hits inside-the-park homer
Chourio went 2-for-4 with an inside-the-park home run and an additional run scored during Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Rangers.

Advice: Chourio showcased his blazing speed Wednesday, notching his second inside-the-parker of 2024 in the fourth inning after Derek Hill misplayed Chourio's line drive to center field. After a slow start to his rookie campaign, Chourio has been excellent in June, going 19-for-63 (.302) with three homers, 13 RBI and 11 runs over 21 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:08 pm

  • Homers, steals base in loss
Arias went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a stolen base against Baltimore in a loss Wednesday.

Advice: Arias accounted for two of Cleveland's five hits in the defeat and plated the team's final run with his fifth-inning solo homer. The utility man has perked up at the plate of late, batting an even .400 (10-for-25) with a pair of long balls and five RBI over his past nine games. Arias missed some time due to a family medical emergency during that span and isn't an everyday player for the Guardians, so the hot stretch extends back to the beginning of June. • Luis Matos collects two hits, homers vs. Cubs
Luis Matos went 2-for-3 with a solo homer in the Giants’ 4-3 win against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: Matos was recalled after Mike Yastrzemski hit the injured list last week. He’s collected at least one hit in all four starts, including a solo homer in the fifth inning off of Drew Smyly on Wednesday. The 22-year-old outfielder is slashing .253/.272/.374 with three homers and 21 RBI across 103 plate appearances. Given his bat-to-ball skills and improved hard-hit rate, he should get a chance to continue improving on his .253 BABIP and could be relevant in five-outfielder leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:18 pm

  • Michael Conforto blasts two-run homer in win
Michael Conforto went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Advice: With a runner on base in the second inning, Conforto took Hayden Wesneski deep to right center field for a two-run shot to put the Giants on the board. It was Conforto’s ninth homer of the season and only his second in June. The 31-year-old outfielder is slashing .232/.286/.415 with 23 runs scored and 29 RBI across 224 plate appearances. • Seiya Suzuki slugs solo homer in loss to Giants
Seiya Suzuki went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Giants on Wednesday.

Advice: Suzuki’s only hit of the day left the yard, a game-tying homer in the fifth inning off of Hayden Birdsong. The 29-year-old outfielder is up to nine homers while slashing .263/.336/.446 with 29 runs scored, 29 RBI, and seven steals across 241 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm
  • Aaron Judge crushes 30th home run
Aaron Judge went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer and walk on Wednesday against the Mets.

Advice: Judge’s league-leading 30th long ball was the extent of the Yankees’ offense in this one. While the team is scuffling, Judge certainly hasn’t with nine home runs and 22 RBI in his last 15 games. Silly numbers from the most productive player in baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:49 pm

  • Nabs second steal
Donovan went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base in a 4-1 win over Atlanta in Game 2 of Wednesday's doubleheader.

Advice: Donovan's eight-game hitting streak ended in the matinee with an 0-for-2 effort, but he bounced back in the nightcap, which was his eighth multi-hit effort in June. The 27-year-old also picked up his second steal of the campaign on his fifth attempt. Donovan is at a .270/.337/.419 slash line with eight home runs, 40 RBI and 35 runs scored across 74 contests. He's seen a majority of his playing time in left field but has also featured at second base, third base, right field and designated hitter as he continues to show some utility skills.
