      X-rays on Lindor's left index finger came back negative after he injured it on a bunt attempt during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

      Advice: Despite injuring his finger during the first game of Tuesday's action, Lindor was still able to play in the nightcap and go 1-for-4. The 30-year-old shortstop is dealing with a bit of swelling in his finger, so it's possible he sits down for a day or two until the swelling goes down, but a long-term absence seems unlikely.       Advice: Arizona's offense couldn't get anything going until Carroll tripled and scored in the bottom of the eighth inning.       Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters that Trea Turner (hamstring) is dealing with soreness and he’ll be “pulled back” on his rehab.

      Advice: “How long, I don’t know,” Thomson said. “I’m not really concerned at this point.” Turner is working his way back from his left hamstring strain, and he ran at a higher intensity Saturday as he attempts to make a quicker return than anticipated.
