    Doval struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 15th save of the season in a 5-3 win over Atlanta.

    Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander was in peak form, whiffing Adam Duvall with a 100.6 mph cutter to end the game. Doval blew his last save chance Friday though, and consistency has been an issue for him all year -- through 33.2 innings, he's posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB, a significant step backwards from his ratios the prior two seasons.     Drury went 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

    Advice: Drury missed nine straight games due to an illness before appearing off the bench Sunday versus the Tigers. This was his first start since June 21, and he played the full game at second base. The infielder has struggled this year, slashing .175/.246/.237 with one home run, six RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases over 126 plate appearances.     Brandon Drury singled, drew a pair of walks and scored three runs as the Angels fell to the Athletics on Tuesday evening in Oakland.

    Advice: The 31-year-old infielder led off the fifth inning with a single off of Mitch Spence, then scored the Halos’ first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nolan Schanuel. Drury also led off the seventh inning with a walk and scored on a two-run single by Schanuel. He led off the ninth inning with a walk as well and was once again plated by Schanuel — this time with an RBI double.     Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

    Advice: Bellinger has started to get going after a relatively slow start to the season. He was batting .226 through the end of April, but turned that around by hitting .290 in May and .279 in June. Bellinger is now off to a solid start in July, and after a nice bounceback effort in his first season with the Cubs last year following a disappointing 2022 campaign, the 28-year-old appears primed for a strong finish to 2024.     Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

    Advice: Bellinger doubled in the second inning to score Nico Hoerner and give the Cubs their first run of the game. It would be the only run the Cubs would score through the first eight innings before Seiya Suzuki hit a three-run homer in a ninth-inning rally. Bellinger continues to stay hot since having his nine-game hit streak ended last week, as he’s now hit safely in three-straight games and is slashing a solid .270/.329/.421 on the season.     Camilo Doval pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

    Advice: Doval now has 14 saves on the season and has allowed just one run since his four-run implosion against the Angels back in mid-June.
