According to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca, manager John Schneider expects Bichette to return from the injured list when first eligible June 25. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is starting at shortstop Tuesday and could operate as Toronto's primary option there for the immediate future, and Orelvis Martinez was called up and should also see infield action while Bichette is sidelined.     Advice: Bichette has been dealing with soreness in his right calf, and rather than wait for the infielder to get ready and play short-handed, the Blue Jays will take precaution and place the star shortstop on the injured list.     Pivetta (4-4) allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over Toronto.

    Advice: Pivetta gave up one run through five frames before allowing solo homers to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively. Pivetta is 2-0 with a 3.50 ERA in three starts this month after posting a disappointing 5.55 ERA in May. For the season, he owns a 3.88 ERA alongside a 59:14 K:BB through 10 starts.     Advice: Friedl made a diving catch in center field, robbing Nick Gonzales of an extra-base hit in the bottom of the fifth and injuring his hamstring in the process. Manager David Bell said Friedl had a full range of motion and strength, stating that the hamstring was "just tight."   • Pivetta picks up fourth win against Blue Jays
    Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in seven innings and got the win in the Red Sox’ 7-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.



    Advice: Pivetta gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out four. It was his fourth win in 10 starts this season and he’s now won two of his last three starts. Pivetta allowed a sacrifice fly to Isiah Kiner-Falefa and solo home runs to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider, but that was it for the Toronto offense. His ERA is now 3.88 on the season.     Bohm went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Monday's win over the Padres.

    Advice: Bohm has been on a tear as of late, picking up his fourth consecutive game with multiple hits. He also has an RBI in five straight contests, which is the longest such streak of his career. The 27-year-old is up to 60 RBI this season, good for fourth in the majors.
