  • Starling Marte goes deep as Mets crush Marlins
Starling Marte went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI on Wednesday night, helping to power the Mets to a 10-4 victory over the visiting Marlins.

Advice: The 35-year-old outfielder clobbered a mammoth 434-foot (106.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Braxton Garrett in the fifth inning that increased the Mets’ advantage to 6-4. He also drove in a run with a two-out RBI single in the eighth inning that capped off the scoring in the ballgame. Marte drew a walk as well, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances. He has been highly productive when healthy this season, slashing .288/.338/.437 with seven homers, 28 RBI and 10 swipes in his first 59 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:48 pm
  • TJ Friedl scores run as Reds top Guardians
TJ Friedl singled and scored a run as the Reds triumphed over the Guardians on Wednesday evening in Cincinnati.

Advice: Friedl singled off of Tanner Bibee in the sixth inning, then rode home on Jeimer Candelario’s go-ahead three-run homer. That would be the 28-year-old outfielder’s only hit in four at-bats on the day. He has been having a rough time at the plate in-between stints on the injured list this season, slashing a mere .221/.338/.382 with three homers, 13 RBI and five stolen bases in his first 19 games. • Juan Soto back in right field Tuesday vs. Royals
Juan Soto is back in right field for Tuesday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: Soto is back patrolling right field for the first time since leaving last Thursday’s game against the Twins with left forearm discomfort. Clearly, the Yankees aren’t too concerned about the issue moving forward if he’s already back out there in the outfield after missing just a handful of contests to undergo further testing. • Returns to lineup at DH
Soto (forearm) will start at designated hitter and bat second Monday in Kansas City, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Soto missed the previous three contests with left forearm inflammation but is feeling well enough to return to action for the start of the Yankees' series against the Royals. He will be eased into action at DH, and it's possible the team will keep him there for a bit in order to protect his forearm. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:19 pm
