    Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre reinstated Vivas (undisclosed) from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.

    Advice: Vivas has made five starts since being activated, going 4-for-17 with four walks, three RBI and three runs. The 23-year-old has already been on the IL on two occasions in 2024, as he opened the season on the shelf due to an orbital fracture that he suffered late in spring training.   • Alec Burleson slugs two-run home run in loss
    Alec Burleson slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night as the Cardinals rallied late to beat the Phillies in Philadelphia.

    Advice: Burleson walloped a 405-foot (105.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Taijuan Walker in the third inning that gave the Cardinals a 4-2 advantage.   • Nolan Gorman homers, plates three to lead Cards
    Nolan Gorman went 2-for-4, homered and drove in three runs on Sunday night as the Cardinals triumphed over the Phillies 5-4 in 10 innings.

    Advice: Gorman got the scoring started with a bang, crushing a 367-foot (108.6 mph EV) two-out, two-run shot off of Phillies’ right-hander Taijuan Walker in the opening frame. He then smacked a two-out go-ahead RBI single off of Gregory Soto to give the Cardinals the lead in the 10th inning. Gorman also walked and struck out twice in the ballgame, finishing the evening 1-for-4. On the season, he’s now slashing .223/.310/.457 with 11 long balls and 28 RBI.     Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Reds.

    Advice: Bellinger played well but the rest of Chicago's lineup could only muster five hits overall, which limited his ability to collect counting stats. The 28-year-old is batting .318 over his last 10 games with a home run, four runs scored and five RBI. If Bellinger gets more support from his teammates, he could really take off across the board, though he should have plenty of fantasy value either way given his ability to hit the ball over the fall and swipe a base on occasion.   • Bryson Stott swipes two bases in loss to Cards
    Bryson Stott drove in a pair of runs and swiped two bases as the Phillies fell to the Cardinals in 10 innings on Sunday night.

    Advice: Stott drew a walk off of Lance Lynn in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. He then tied the game up and chased Lynn with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Stott then deftly nabbed second base again, but the Phillies once again couldn’t score him.   • Homers twice, doubles
    Marte went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double and a walk Sunday against the Mets, finishing with three RBI and two runs scored.

    Advice: Marte got the scoring going in the top of the first with a leadoff homer against Jose Quintana. He saved his best for last though, launching a decisive two-run shot in the ninth to propel Arizona to a 5-4 victory. The multi-HR performance was Marte's first of the season and the seventh of his career.     Triple-A Charlotte placed Shewmake on its 7-day injured list Sunday due to an unspecified injury.

    Advice: After receiving limited playing time with the White Sox, Shewmake was optioned to Charlotte on May 17 and had settled into an everyday role with the Triple-A club. However, he went just 4-for-33 (.121 average) at the dish over nine games with Charlotte before suffering an apparent injury Saturday and landing on the IL a day later.     Advice: Perez matched a season high with three hits, plating a run with his seventh-inning double, later scoring the go-ahead run in the 10th. He had entered the game in a 3-for-28 skid over his last seven starts prior to his outburst Sunday. The 24-year-old rookie outfielder has now accumulated 14 extra-base hits including six doubles, five triples and three homers while driving in 15, scoring 22 and swiping four bags over 152 plate appearances.     Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday.
