• Willi Castro goes 3-for-5, steals base
Willi Castro went 3-for-5 with a triple, a double and a stolen base Wednesday as the Twins took down the White Sox 10-5.

Advice: Castro has really warmed up, going 16-for-35 with eight RBI in his last eight games. That’s raised his OPS from .538 to 789. He was in line to lose playing time due to Carlos Correa’s return, but the hot streak has changed that, and now that Byron Buxton is down, there’s little doubt that Castro will stay in the lineup for a while. He’s an option for teams in need of steals. Rotoworld Today, 2:27 pm

  • Could need just one rehab start
Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Monday that it's possible Steele (hamstring) rejoins the rotation after his rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: The left-hander's rehab start Wednesday will be his first outing since he suffered a left hamstring strain back on Opening Day. As long as Steele gets his pitch count up to a high enough threshold and recovers well from the start, it sounds like he could be back with the Cubs early next week. • Steele (hamstring) may make only one rehab start
Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Monday that Justin Steele (hamstring) may only need one rehab start.

Advice: Steele is set to make a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday, and Counsell wouldn’t rule out that the southpaw could make his next start with the Cubs after that outing. Even is the 28-year-old needs to make one more rehab appearance after, it shouldn’t be long before Steele is back in the rotation for the Cubs and fantasy managers. Rotoworld Monday, 3:23 pm

  • Homers in second straight
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Tucker took advantage of the offensive environment in Mexico City, homering in each of Houston's two contests there. He now has seven home runs on the season and has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. It comes as no surprise that Tucker has remained an excellent five-category contributor, highlighted by 39 combined RBI and runs scored as well as five stolen bases across 28 contests. • Cruises to ninth save
Finnegan walked one in a scoreless ninth to pick up the save during Sunday's 12-9 victory over the Marlins. He struck out one.

Advice: Finnegan needed 21 pitches to finish the game but kept Miami off the scoreboard to match the league lead with his ninth save in 10 opportunities. He lowered his ERA to 2.19 with a 0.97 WHIP and 11 strikeouts over 12.1 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:55 pm
  • Takes extra-inning loss
Clase (1-1) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing one unearned run on one hit in one-third of an inning.

Advice: After striking out Ozzie Albies to open up the bottom half of the 10th frame, Clase surrendered a walk-off base hit to Austin Riley to bring home the designated runner. The outing snapped a streak of six consecutive scoreless appearances (covering six frames) and three straight perfect innings. Still, Clase is tied for the sixth-most saves in baseball with eight. • Kyle Finnegan locks down 9th save of season
Kyle Finnegan closed down the Nationals’ 12-9 win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: It never seems to come easy for Finnegan, who also walked a hitter on Sunday and threw just 56 percent of his pitches for strikes. However, the Marlins weren’t able to mount much of a challenge and he now has a 2.19 ERA to go along with nine saves. Who knows how long it will last, but it’s hard to argue with the current production. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:44 pm
  • Draws another start
Flexen is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Advice: Flexen will make a second straight turn through the rotation after he held his own in his return from the bullpen Friday against the Rays, striking out two while allowing five baserunners over five scoreless innings en route to grabbing his first win of the season. The right-hander may not be in store for an extended run in the rotation, however; Mike Clevinger made a 60-pitch rehab start at Triple-A Charlotte this past week and could be ready to make his 2024 White Sox debut by next weekend. • Swipes home in win
Kwan went 2-for-5 with two runs and a stolen base Saturday in an extra-inning victory versus Atlanta.

Advice: Kwan's speed was on display throughout the contest, as neither of his base knocks left the infield and he crossed the plate on a steal of home in the eighth inning. The third-year outfielder had had an impressive beginning to the campaign, notching at least one hit in 17 of his 26 contests. He's slashing .345/.378/.469 with three homers, eight RBI, 25 runs and three thefts through 119 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:13 pm
