He told reporters afterwards that he’s hopeful this latest incident won’t require another trip to the injured list, but it’s a concerning development that he’s still having knee issues.       Advice: King received double-digit run support from San Diego’s offense and was able to cruise to a relatively easy win, scattering four hits and one walk over five spotless frames. The 29-year-old righty has been phenomenal of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts since May 4. He’ll carry a sharp 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83/32 K/BB ratio across 78 innings (14 appearances, 13 starts) into an extremely favorable matchup on Wednesday afternoon against the rebuilding Athletics.       Advice: Ramos logged multiple hits for the fourth time in the last five games. This was also his this time leading off in that span, and the first time he's been atop the order against a right-handed pitcher (Michael Lorenzen). Ramos is slashing .320/.416/.515 with five home runs, 20 RBI, 12 runs scored and one stolen base over 27 contests. As long as he's swinging a hot bat, it makes sense to have him at leadoff, especially since he's displayed improved plate discipline with a 13.2 percent walk rate this year.
