    • Rhys Hoskins exits game with leg injury
Rhys Hoskins left Monday’s game in the second inning with an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Hoskins was hurt running to first base on a single. He was able to walk off the field without much trouble, so hopefully that’s a good sign. Hoskins missed all of last year with a torn ACL in his left knee. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Lifted early vs. Pirates
Hoskins left Monday's game against Pittsburgh after suffering a hamstring injury, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hoskins appeared to tweak something in the bottom of the second inning after singling to right field, and he was immediately removed from the matchup. He's headed to the clubhouse for further evaluation and will be considered day-to-day until more information comes to light. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Left out of lineup Monday
DeLuca is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: DeLuca will take a seat for the first time since returning from the 10-day injured list May 3 and making his Rays and season debuts. He had been projected to fill a short-side platoon role for Tampa Bay, but DeLuca now appears poised to handle a near-everyday role after beginning his Rays tenure with a .286/.394/.536 slash line through his first nine games. DeLuca will cede his spot in the outfield to Jose Siri on Monday, however. Rotowire.com Today, 1:57 pm
    • Expects another rehab start
Snell (adductor) expects to make another rehab start before rejoining the Giants' rotation, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Snell had a dominant first rehab start with Single-A San Jose on Sunday, throwing an immaculate inning on his way to seven strikeouts across four perfect frames. He touched 97 mph on the radar gun. Snell threw just 46 pitches in the outing but did get in an additional 15 tosses in the bullpen after the appearance. Snell noted that the decision on where he will pitch next will ultimately be made by manager Bob Melvin and the team's medical staff, but the southpaw believes he could use another tune-up against stiffer competition. Snell is tracking toward a return next week. Rotowire.com Today, 9:12 am

    • Grabs win after Mets walk off
Diaz (1-1) secured the win over Alanta on Sunday, tossing a perfect ninth frame while striking out a batter.

Advice: Diaz entered to begin the ninth with the Mets trailing 3-2 and wound up with the win thanks to a Brandon Nimmo two-run walk off homer in the bottom of the inning. He's bounced back with a save and a win in his last two outings after allowing three runs in his previous four innings. He's also struck out at least one batter in all 15 of his appearances thus far. For the year, Diaz owns a 2.30 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB in 15.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:54 am
    • Four perfect frames in rehab start
Snell (adductor) struck out seven over four perfect innings in his first rehab start with Single-A San Jose on Sunday.

Advice: Snell even completed an immaculate inning in the first as part of an impressive showing from the southpaw. The results should be taken with a grain of salt given the level of competition, but the bottom line for Snell was certainly encouraging. Snell got his pitch count up to 46 in his four efficient frames, which would seem to point to him needing at least one more rehab start before being activated from the 15-day injured list. He's been out since late April with a Grade 2 adductor strain. Rotowire.com Today, 6:44 am

    • Homers and doubles in win
Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a double, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Rodriguez connected for his second home run of the season on a two-run blast off Alex Wood in the second. He later doubled off the top of the wall to begin the fifth and merely just missed another home run. Rodriguez was the only Mariner with multiple extra-base hits in the game and has been seeing the ball much better lately, with the last six batted balls for him all traveling at least 100 mph. The 23-year-old has endured some struggles at the plate this season but is now slashing .255/.310/.323 with 13 RBI, 16 runs, nine steals and an 11:50 BB:K in 174 plate appearances. • Snaps skid with homer
Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Brewers.

Advice: Goldschmidt needed Sunday's performance in a big way; he entered the contest riding a 1-for-32 skid. He finally snapped out of it with a solo homer in the fifth inning, followed by a game-tying RBI single in the sixth. However, he also struck out twice, giving him an uncharacteristic 2:15 BB:K over his last eight games. On the year, Goldschmidt is now slashing .197/.280/.279 with six extra-base hits and 13 RBI through 38 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:07 pm
    • Swipes two bags
Suwinski went 1-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases during Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Suwinski entered the contest with one stolen base on the season, but he swiped second base twice during the extra-inning loss. The left-hander has almost exclusively started against right-handed pitching, with 107 of his 129 plate appearances coming against opposite-handed throwers. However, Suwinski is slashing just .129/.234/.304 against righties this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:44 pm
