    • Stays hot in win
Ramos went 3-for-5 with one RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramos logged multiple hits for the fourth time in the last five games. This was also his this time leading off in that span, and the first time he's been atop the order against a right-handed pitcher (Michael Lorenzen). Ramos is slashing .320/.416/.515 with five home runs, 20 RBI, 12 runs scored and one stolen base over 27 contests. As long as he's swinging a hot bat, it makes sense to have him at leadoff, especially since he's displayed improved plate discipline with a 13.2 percent walk rate this year. • Leaves game with injury
O'Neill was removed from Friday's game against the White Sox due to an apparent knee injury, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: O'Neill had been visibly bothered by his right knee for about an inning before eventually coming out of the game during the third frame. The 28-year-old outfielder recently spent time on the injured list due to inflammation in the same knee, so the Red Sox will surely take a close look at him and should provide an update on his status in the near future. • On bench Friday
Fraley is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Fraley will dodge a matchup with lefty Justin Steele on Friday. Jonathan India will DH and Santiago Espinal will play second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:07 pm

    • Returns to action
O'Neill started at designated hitter and went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: This was O'Neill's second game back after being reinstated from the injured list Wednesday. He played nine innings in right field Wednesday. The veteran outfielder hit safely in both games, going 4-for-7 with a walk, an RBI and three runs scored. Given the blowout nature of Thursday's contest, Red Sox manager Alex Cora opted to pull O'Neill after six innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:30 am

    • Sets tone in Thursday's win
Duran went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI, one walk and two total runs scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Duran has multiple hits in four of his last five games, and he's gone yard in back-to-back contests. His homer Thursday came on Jake Woodford's second pitch of the game in the first inning, setting the tone for the Red Sox in their blowout win. Duran is up to five homers on the year, and he's added 27 RBI, 38 runs scored, 11 stolen bases and a .271/.336/.465 slash line over 286 plate appearances. While he continues to split time between left field and center field, there's no questioning Duran's place in the lineup this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:02 pm

    • Jarren Duran posts four hits, homers vs. White Sox
Jarren Duran went 4-for-5 with a leadoff homer and two RBI on Thursday, leading the Red Sox to a 14-2 blowout victory over the White Sox.

Advice: Duran spearheaded Boston’s 24-hit barrage on Thursday evening at Guaranteed Rate Field with a tone-setting leadoff homer against White Sox starter Jake Woodford. He also added a sixth-inning sacrifice fly and matched a season-high with four hits. It was the first time he’s accomplished the feat since back on April 3. The 27-year-old top-of-the-order table-setter has five homers and 11 steals on the season through 63 games. Rotoworld Thursday, 7:54 pm

    • Gets on base six times
Ramos went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run, four walks and a second run scored in Wednesday's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Getting on base six times will do wonders for the slash line, and Ramos' is at .304/.407/.511 after Wednesday's stellar performance. He has multiple hits in three of his last four contests and multiple walks in each of the last two games. The outfielder didn't have much of a track record in the majors over the last two years, but he's made the most of his opportunity in 2024 with five homers, 19 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base through 108 plate appearances. Ramos has earned a starting role in the corner outfield, effectively bumping Mike Yastrzemski over to center field to platoon with Austin Slater. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:49 pm
    • Prevents shutout with homer
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Rodriguez got the Mariners on the board in the ninth inning, taking a 102.5 mph offering from Mason Miller deep to center field. This was Rodriguez's third homer over his last 11 games, a span in which he's gone 15-for-42 (.357) with 10 RBI. The star outfielder continues to shake off a slow start to the year, and he's now at a .270/.317/.351 slash line with five homers, 24 RBI, 27 runs scored and 14 stolen bases through 63 contests. • Julio Rodríguez socks solo homer in loss to A’s
Julio Rodríguez went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk against the A’s on Wednesday.

Advice: Rodríguez made sure the Mariners would not be shut out against the A’s on Wednesday. He took Mason Miller deep to lead off the ninth inning to bring Seattle to within a run. The 23-year-old outfielder is slashing .270/.317/.351 with five homers, 27 runs scored, 24 RBI, and 14 steals across 265 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:03 pm
