    • Blake Snell goes five scoreless in return from IL
Blake Snell shut out the Blue Jays for five innings as the Giants prevailed 4-3 in his return from the injured list.

Advice: Snell came into this one with a 9.51 ERA and a .308 average against in six starts for the Giants, but he allowed just one hit tonight. He struck out three and walked three while throwing 73 pitches to 18 batters, as the Giants decided to get him out of there before anyone could see him for a third time. The 1-0 lead the Giants had when Snell was pulled briefly turned into a 3-1 deficit in the seventh, so he remained 0-3 for the season. Rotoworld 9 minutes ago
    • Julio Rodríguez goes 4-for-4, delivers ninth homer
Julio Rodríguez went 4-for-4 with a homer and a double before coming out of Tuesday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Rodríguez’s quad isn’t 100 percent, so the Mariners took him out with a 7-1 lead after seven innings. Rodríguez’s homer was his only hard-hit ball tonight, but it was pretty impressive, getting into the second deck at Petco Park. He’s 7-for-13 with two homers and two doubles since Friday. • Logan O’Hoppe goes 3-for-4, hits two hoemrs
Logan O’Hoppe went 3-for-4 and homered twice against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Advice: Both homers were solo shots, since O’Hoppe was batting sixth behind fourth- and fifth-place hitters who combined to go 0-for-8. Why is O’Hoppe batting sixth? It’s because he’s young, apparently. He has an .825 OPS, which is 87 points higher than the mark of the second most productive hitter in the Angels lineup tonight, Taylor Ward (to be fair, it was only 53 points higher at the beginning of the night). • Has four hits, home run in win
Busch went 4-for-6 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Busch got the scoring started Tuesday by taking Dean Kremer deep in the top of the first and kept it going by registering his first four-hit game of the season. Busch has homered in back-to-back games, and the two homers match the total he had in his previous 32 games combined. The 26-year-old now has 12 homers, which are tied with Jackson Merrill and Colton Cowser for the most by a rookie this season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 pm

    • Josh Naylor has three hits, combo meal in win
Josh Naylor went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base in a 9-8 extra-innings win over the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Naylor is now up to 22 home runs, 70 RBI, and four steals on the season in what has been a tremendous campaign. His .247 batting average leaves a little to be desired, but he’s been hitting the ball hard and his underlying numbers suggested that better days were ahead. He came into tonight with a .241 batting average but .276 xBA and given how he performed against the Tigers, we could see that average continue to tick up after the All-Star break. • Zack Wheeler (back) likely to make next start
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Zack Wheeler (back) is expected to make his next start on Sunday against the Athletics.

Advice: Thomson added that Wheeler’s early exit from Tuesday’s start against the Dodgers was merely for precautionary reasons after his back tightened up on him after five innings. The 34-year-old fantasy ace will be re-evaluated on Wednesday out of an abundance of caution, but all indications are that he’ll be ready to take the ball this weekend. • Edwin Díaz grabs unexpected save for Mets
Edwin Díaz struck out the only batter he faced to earn the save against the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Díaz had no business being in this game, but Adam Ottavino and Reed Garrett each gave up a two-run homer to put the Nationals back in this game. There was also a strange play in Díaz’s four pitches of work where Francisco Alvarez lost a slider behind him and allowed Jacob Young to score from second base on the wild pitch. Still, it was nice to see Díaz lock this one down and make CJ Abrams look foolish in the process. Rotoworld Today, 7:02 pm
    • Wheeler earns win despite leaving game early
Zack Wheeler allowed one run on three hits in five innings in a win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Wheeler left the game after five innings with back tightness, but the Phillies were already up 9-1 at the time, so it’s possible the team was just being cautious with their ace. Wheeler walked two on the day and struck out seven while posting a 31 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW. He’s set to pitch against Oakland this weekend, but it’s possible the Phillies could decide to simply rest him with the All-Star break looming. Rotoworld Today, 6:42 pm

    • Big effort in win
Busch went 4-for-6 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: It was Busch's first four-hit effort of the season as he raised his batting average from .264 to .273. The 26-year-old is enjoying a good first year in Chicago with the solid average along with 12 home runs and an .838 OPS across 85 games. After not really getting an opportunity to break in with the Dodgers, Busch has found an everyday role and has developed into a solid fantasy contributor. Rotowire.com Today, 6:40 pm
