    • Clase notches league-leading 15th save
Emmanuel Clase pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in the Guardians’ 7-6 win over the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Clase allowed one hit and didn’t register a strikeout, but he got the job done for his league-leading 15th save. With a 0.36 ERA to go along with it, anybody who used an early-round draft pick on Clase is feeling pretty good about that decision right now. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago
    • José Ramirez has two hits, HR in win over Mets
José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time. • Jon Gray exits Tuesday start with groin tightness
Jon Gray was removed from Tuesday’s start against the Phillies with right groin tightness.

Advice: That explains why Gray was finished after just 75 pitches (50 strikes) over five frames in an abbreviated outing. The 32-year-old righty was charged with two runs on four hits with four strikeouts and three walks. The severity of the injury is a bit murky at the moment, but there should be some clarity on his status at some point in the near future. It’s unclear whether he’ll be ready to make his next start on Sunday against the Twins. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago

    • Exits start with groin tightness
Manager Bruce Bochy said Tuesday that Gray was removed from his start against the Phillies due to right groin tightness, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Gray was able to get through five innings before exiting his start, allowing two earned runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four batters. Bochy didn't specify how severe Gray's injury is, so it remains unclear if the right-hander is at risk of missing his next start -- tentatively scheduled for Sunday in Minnesota. • Homer, three RBI in win
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an RBI double in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets.

Advice: Ramirez extended Cleveland's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-out double before cranking a two-run homer off Adrian Houser in the fifth, his 12th of the year. The 31-year-old Ramirez has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs and 13 RBI in his last eight contests. His slash line is up to .258/.305/.495 with 44 RBI, 31 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 210 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago

    • Up to 15 saves
Clase earned the save in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Mets, working around a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Clase's now pitched three consecutive days while locking down saves in back-to-back outings. He'd allow a one-out single to Francisco Lindor on Tuesday before inducing a game-ending double play off the bat of Pete Alonso. Clase lowered his ERA to a pristine 0.36 with a 0.59 WHIP and 24:2 K:BB across 25.1 innings while converting a league-leading 15 saves in 18 opportunities. Rotowire.com Today, 6:08 pm
    • Hits on field, runs at 80 percent
Turner (hamstring) hit on the field and ran at 80 percent effort level Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner has ramped up his workouts over the last week and has not reported any soreness in his left hamstring. The Phillies have been encouraged by Turner's progress, but they insist he won't be rushed and have not offered an amendment of the shortstop's initial six-week timetable. However, Friday will be just the three-week mark of the injury, so it sure seems as though Turner is ahead of schedule. Rotowire.com Today, 1:20 pm

    • Trea Turner (hamstring) continues progressing
Trea Turner (hamstring) progressed to on-field hitting and ran at 80 percent on Tuesday.

Advice: Turner hasn’t experienced any soreness or setbacks as he steadily ramps up baseball activities in his recovery from a left hamstring strain. The 30-year-old shortstop isn’t being intentionally rushed back, but he’s making swift progress and could return in a couple weeks, if not sooner. Rotoworld Today, 1:15 pm

    • Cruises to 14th save
Clase earned a save against the Mets on Monday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth inning.

Advice: Clase inherited a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth frame and made quick work of New York, needing just 12 pitches to set down the side in order. The right-hander has yielded just one earned run all season, giving him a sparkling 0.37 ERA through 24.1 frames. Clase has posted an outstanding 24:2 K:BB and is tied for first in the majors with 14 saves. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:57 pm
