• Exits with apparent injury
Slater was removed from Friday's game against the Reds with an apparent arm injury, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Slater crashed hard into the outfield wall during the first inning and was later pinch hit for by Michael Conforto. The Giants' training staff will take a closer look at Slater in the clubhouse and should offer an update on his status in the near future. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

  • Finally snaps slump
Olson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Olson hit Atlanta's third and final homer during the third inning and it proved to be the game-winning blast. It was his first long ball since April 7, snapping an uncharacteristic 26-game skid. During that extended drought, he posted a .508 OPS with 30 strikeouts. On the year, Olson is now slashing .202/.311/.372 with 13 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 35 contests. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

  • Notches fifth save
Hader earned the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers, working around a walk while striking out two in a scoreless inning.

Advice: Hader's allowed just one earned run in his last 7.1 innings while improving to 5-for-6 in save chances. After a shaky start to the year, the left-hander's lowered his ERA to 5.29 with a 1.35 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 17 innings. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago

  • Chased early again
Rogers (0-6) yielded five runs (four earned) on nine hits and two walks over 3.1 innings Friday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Phillies.

Advice: Rogers got through three frames with only two runs allowed before the Phillies piled on three runs in the fourth inning. He's been blasted for 12 earned runs in just 5.2 innings over his last two outings, boosting his ERA from 4.31 to 6.57 in the process. Rogers has yet to complete six innings in any start this year and owns a lackluster 31:17 K:BB through 37 frames. His next outing is currently projected to be in Detroit next week. • Charlie Morton punches out seven Mets in win
Charlie Morton turned back the clock Friday with seven strikeouts across seven innings in the Braves 4-to-2 win over the Mets. He allowed three hits, one walk, and one run while earning the victory.

Advice: The only blemish on Morton’s ledger was a late solo shot from Francisco Lindor. He was in complete control on a rainy night in Queens and looked like vintage Morton. He’s had a fantastic start to his age-40 season with a 3.14 ERA across seven starts. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Ronald Acuña Jr. goes deep in win
Ronald Acuña Jr. hit just his third home run of the season Friday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: A welcome sight, Acuña’s homer was an impressive shot traveling an estimated 461 feet through the cold, rainy New York night at 114.2 mph exit velocity. Acuña’s power hasn’t been there yet this season, but patience is a virtue with a superstar of this level. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
  • Francisco Lindor hits home run in loss
Francisco Lindor hit a late homer off Charlie Morton in a loss to the Braves.

Advice: The Mets’ offense was quiet all night as Morton held them to just three hits, the loudest being Lindor’s solo shot. He’s done well to put his slow start behind him with six homers over the last three weeks. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

  • Raisel Iglesias earns shaky save over Mets
Raisel Iglesias closed out the Mets for his 10th save of the season Friday despite allowing an earned run.

Advice: Results wise, Iglesias has been great this season with a 2.35 ERA. There’s some fear of regression though with a paltry 16.1 K%, by far the lowest of his career. A.J. Minter has faltered out of the gate, so Iglesias still likely has a firm hold on Atlanta’s closer role. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago
  • Cody Bellinger goes 4-for-5, homers in Cubs’ win
Cody Bellinger finished 4-for-5 with a homer and two doubles Friday in the Cubs’ 7-2 takedown of the Pirates.

Advice: A great night, but somehow, he drove in only himself despite his other three hits all coming with men on base. His first double produced a run, but it actually scored on a Yasmani Grandal error when Nico Hoerner should have been out at home plate. Mike Tauchman stopped at third base on Bellinger’s other double. Bellinger is hitting .268/.345/.536 in 110 plate appearances. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
