    • Wins with quality start
Pivetta (4-4) allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings Monday, striking out four and earning a win over Toronto.

Advice: Pivetta gave up one run through five frames before allowing solo homers to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively. Pivetta is 2-0 with a 3.50 ERA in three starts this month after posting a disappointing 5.55 ERA in May. For the season, he owns a 3.88 ERA alongside a 59:14 K:BB through 10 starts. Pivetta's next start is projected to be in Cincinnati. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:39 pm

    • Pivetta picks up fourth win against Blue Jays
Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in seven innings and got the win in the Red Sox’ 7-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Pivetta gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out four. It was his fourth win in 10 starts this season and he’s now won two of his last three starts. Pivetta allowed a sacrifice fly to Isiah Kiner-Falefa and solo home runs to Justin Turner and Davis Schneider, but that was it for the Toronto offense. His ERA is now 3.88 on the season. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:08 pm

    • Delivers quality start
Ragans allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ragans had just one bad inning -- he gave up a two-run home run to Miguel Rojas and a solo shot to Chris Taylor in the fifth. Aside from that, it was smooth sailing for the southpaw, who earned his fifth quality start in his last six outings, though he has just two wins in that span. The Royals' ace is now at a 3.14 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 102:26 K:BB over 86 innings across 15 starts this season. He's given up more than three runs just twice, with both of those games being seven-run mishaps, so he's often been even more dominant than his surface stats would suggest. Ragans is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:04 pm

    • Cole Ragans holds Dodgers to three over seven
Cole Ragans picked up no-decision after allowing three runs in seven innings of work against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ragans struck out four and walked one. He scattered six hits allowed, but two of those were homers from Miguel Rojas and Chris Taylor. Even with the roundtrippers it’s another quality outing from the 26-year-old, albeit one that doesn’t come with many strikeouts nor a win. Ragans is back on the bump with a very friendly on-paper matchup next week against the A’s. Rotoworld Friday, 9:19 pm

    • Struggles early in no-decision
Pivetta did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Advice: It was a rough night from the start, as Pivetta allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base and surrendered two runs in each of the first and third innings. The four walks were a season high, and he allowed at least one baserunner in every inning. Pivetta has been inconsistent this season, with six starts of two or fewer earned runs and three starts yielding five. On the season, Pivetta owns a 3.88 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 55:13 K:BB in nine starts and lines up against the Blue Jays next Monday. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:59 pm

    • Nick Pivetta yanked after four versus former team
Nick Pivetta surrendered four runs in four innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Phillies.

Advice: Pivetta walked four tonight. He’s issued 11 free passes in his last four starts after totaling two in his first five. Pivetta also struck out four tonight. Oddly enough, his nine starts this season have seen him strike out at least eight on five occasions and no more than four the rest of the time. He’s 3-4 with a 3.88 ERA. • Fans nine in no-decision
Ragans allowed a run on three hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out nine during the loss to Seattle.

Advice: Ragans served up a leadoff home run to J.P. Crawford on just the fourth pitch of the game but was otherwise dominant despite not earning a win. After the homer, Ragans struck out seven of the next 10 batters he faced. It was his second straight quality start and fourth in his last five appearances. He forced a season-high 22 whiffs, including 11 with his changeup. Ragans lowered his ERA to 3.08 alongside a 98:25 K:BB through 79 innings. His next start is expected to be against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Jun 9, 7:49 pm

    • Cole Ragans surrenders one run in no-decision
Cole Ragans limited the Mariners to one run in six innings and struck out nine in a no-decision Sunday.

Advice: The Ragans-George Kirby matchup met expectations, resulting in a 1-1 tie when Ragans departed. Ragans allowed one run or fewer for the eighth time in 14 starts this season. His two bad outings this year have been particularly bad, accounting for 14 of the 27 earned runs he’s allowed, but he’s been terrific overall and should have been than a 4-4 record to show for it.
