    • Sewald records four save against Marlins Saturday
Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Sewald has allowed one run with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven appearances and converted all four of his save opportunities since coming off the injured list. Fantasy managers that held Sewald since the beginning of the year can’t ask for much more than what they’re getting right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:17 pm
    • Judge blasts 17th home run in win Saturday
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and two RBI against the Padres on Saturday.

Advice: Judge started the scoring with a two-run home run off Dylan Cease in the first inning, his 17th of the year. He’s now homered in four consecutive games. Judge is up to a .280 average and 1.050 OPS with 39 RBI on the season. He’s on pace for 52 home runs this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:46 pm

    • Clase picks up 16th save Saturday
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up his 16th save of the season against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Clase allowed one hit and struck out two batters. He lowered his ERA to 0.34 with another scoreless appearance. Clase continues to show he’s one of the league’s elite closers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:34 pm
    • Just shy of quality start
Taillon allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out three over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Taillon fell one out shy of a quality start, though he exited the game at 105 pitches (68 strikes) after giving up an RBI double to Masyn Winn in the sixth inning. This was an improvement on Taillon's last two starts -- he didn't complete five innings in either of those games. The right-hander is at a 2.58 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 25:11 K:BB through 38.1 innings over seven starts this season, but his 4.69 FIP and .238 BABIP suggest he's enjoyed good luck so far, especially earlier in the season. He's projected for a road start versus the Brewers in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:20 pm
    • Jameson Taillon gives up three runs in no-decision
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in a no-decision against the Cardinals on Saturday night, surrendering three runs on nine hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 32-year-old right-hander punched out three batters on the night while issuing one base on balls. The Cardinals scratched out a pair of runs against him in the third inning, then added another on an RBI double by Masyn Winn as they chased him from the game in the sixth inning. Taillon got just three swings and misses on 105 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. He’ll tote a 2.58 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 25/11 K/BB ratio (38 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Thursday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:17 pm
    • Albert Suárez tosses four scoreless vs. White Sox
Albert Suárez tossed four scoreless innings with three strikeouts in a no-decision against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Suárez made his first start in a month after pitching out of the bullpen for a stretch. He scattered two hits and two walks over four scoreless innings on 80 pitches, striking out three batters. With John Means (forearm) and Dean Kremer (triceps) on the injured list, Suárez should get a chance to hold a rotation spot. He’ll take a 1.53 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and a 24/8 K/BB ratio across 29 1/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Baltimore on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:23 pm

    • Sharp in first win of 2024
Olson (1-5) picked up the win in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the Blue Jays, allowing just an unearned run on three hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Kerry Carpenter launched a two-run homer in the first inning, and it proved to be all the offense that Olson and the Tigers bullpen would need. The right-hander generated 30 called or swinging strikes among his 93 pitches, and while the win was his first of the season, the quality start was his fifth in 10 outings. Olson will take a 1.92 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 47:19 K:BB through 56.1 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend in Boston. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:31 pm
    • Getting breather Saturday
Diaz isn't in the Rays' lineup Saturday against the Royals.

Advice: Diaz will get a day off Saturday after going 1-for-4 during a loss in Friday's series opener. His absence will allow Jonathan Aranda to start at first base, moving Isaac Paredes into the DH spot while Amed Rosario starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:47 pm

    • Reese Olson earns first win Saturday vs. Blue Jays
Reese Olson allowed one run -- zero earned -- with four strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a win over the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Olson looked outstanding after leaving his previous start early after taking a comebacker to the hip. He worked around a bases-loaded jam in the fifth to keep the Blue Jays scoreless. A walk and an error put two runners on with one out in the seventh before Olson was relieved by Alex Faedo, who allowed one inherited runner to score. The Tigers would hold on to the lead to give Olson his first win of the season despite an excellent 1.92 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and a 47/19 K/BB ratio across 56 1/3 innings. He’s in line for a start against the Red Sox in Boston on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:21 pm
