The win was Stone’s eighth of the year and he’s now won four of his last five starts. He’s also struck out at least six batters in four of his last five starts.       The Rockies cleared Diaz (calf) to resume jogging Monday, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: While Diaz looks to be making some progress in his recovery from the left calf strain that forced him to the injured list last Friday, he's still on track to spend more than the minimum 10 days on the shelf.     • Yandy Diaz homers as Rays defeat Twins in 10
      Yandy Diaz hit a two-run homer and doubled in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Thursday.

      Advice: Diaz absolutely clobbered a two-run homer that went an estimated 439 feet to extend the Rays’ lead to 6-2 in the ninth. It turns out the Rays would need those runs, as Minnesota scored four to tie it in the bottom half of the frame.       Paredes went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 extra-inning win against Minnesota.

      Advice: Paredes supplied the only run off Twins starter Joe Ryan with his third-inning solo shot to left field. The long ball was his first of June and just his second over his past 25 contests.       Advice: Paredes opened the scoring in the contest with a 359-foot (95.5 mph EV) solo shot off of Joe Ryan that was pulled down the left field line. The 25-year-old slugger also singled and walked in the contest, finishing the night 2-for-3. On the season, he’s slashing a healthy .286/.368/.475 with the aforementioned 11 long balls and 39 RBI.       Lane Thomas drew a walk and scored a run on Wednesday as the Nationals triumphed over the Diamondbacks in Washington.

      Advice: The 28-year-old outfielder worked a two-out walk off of Brandon Pfaadt in the sixth inning and then rode home on Jesse Winker’s go-ahead two-run blast. He finished the afternoon hitless in three at-bats. On the season, the dynamic outfielder is slashing just .228/.292/.386, though he has slugged seven homers and stolen 16 bases (in 20 attempts).       Keller allowed two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against the Reds on Wednesday. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Keller was locked in Wednesday, holding Cincinnati hitless until the fifth inning, ultimately turning in his second scoreless outing in his last three starts. However, Keller wouldn't factor into the decision, as the Pirates couldn't get on the board until Bryan Reynolds homered in the eighth, providing the lone run in a 1-0 victory. Keller's been excellent since the start of May, pitching to a 1.53 ERA over his last eight outings. Overall, the right-hander's 8-4 with a 3.11 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 85:24 K:BB across 15 starts (92.2 innings) this season.
