• DJ Stewart homers in win over Cubs
DJ Stewart went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

Advice: Stewart took a sixth-inning pitch from Javier Assad and hit it 388 feet at 104.3 mph off the bat. It was the Mets’ only extra-base hit of the night, but the only one they’d need. Stewart now has four home runs and 14 RBI on the season, but his playing time has been less consistent since J.D. Martinez was activated. With Martinez at DH, the Mets are less inclined to play Stewart in the outfield, which will make it hard to roster him in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 8:25 pm

  • Tommy Pham doubles in two-hit game vs. Twins
Tommy Pham went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Twins.

Advice: Pham continued his hot start with the White Sox on Tuesday and has now hit safely in four of his first five games. His RBI single in the fourth gave him his first RBI on the season and put the White Sox up 2-0, and he later came around to score in the third inning after hitting his first double of the year. Pham is now batting.350 on the year, but is stuck in a lineup that offers little to no run production. He can’t be relied on for much at this time as far as fantasy is concerned.

  • Larnach totals two hits, one RBI vs. White Sox
Trevor Larnach went 2-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Larnach was part of a two-run ninth inning that saw the Twins tie the game and later take the lead thanks to his RBI single that scored Carlos Correa. Larnach closes out the first month of the season, hitting a solid .394, and is riding a five-game hitting streak heading into May. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he has totaled two or more hits in his last four games. Rotoworld Today, 8:03 pm

  • Doubles, scores in loss
Tauchman went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Tauchman had half of Chicago's hits in the sluggish loss, pushing his season average up to .307 in the process. With Seiya Suzuki (oblique) and Cody Bellinger (ribs) both on the injured list, Tauchman has seen plenty of playing time recently, and the veteran has responded. He should remain a solid short-term fantasy asset, though his long-term outlook is a bit murkier, as it depends on how quickly the other outfielders are able to return to the lineup. • Wilyer Abreu has three hits in win over Giants
Wilyer Abreu went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, and an RBI in a win over the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Abreu had the hardest hit ball of the day with a 114.4 mph triple in the fourth inning and then also added a 95.8 mph double in the third inning. The 24-year-old is now slashing .316/.391/.526 with 12 RBI and has been one of the better hitters in fantasy baseball since becoming an everyday player in Boston. While he will likely cool down at some point, his minor league track record points to a power/speed profile that should be useful in all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 7:56 pm

  • Nabs second steal
Morel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: The steal was his second of the season, and both pilfers have come in his last eight contests. Morel is struggling to get going with his bat however, and through 29 games he's slashing a meager .215/.292/.374 with four homers, 14 RBI and 17 runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:46 pm

  • Belts two homers in nightcap
Perez went 3-for-4 with a walk, two home runs, three runs scored and three RBI in an 11-6 win over the Cardinals during the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

Advice: After going 0-for-4 in the matinee, Perez led the charge for Detroit in the nightcap, launching a solo shot off Steven Matz in the second inning before belting a two-run shot in the fifth off Ryan Fernandez that put the Tigers in the lead for good. Perez has three homers in 15 games since his promotion, and they've all come in the last three games. The sudden power surge has pushed his slash line to .302/.375/.628 with two steals, seven runs and eight RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 7:39 pm

  • Pops two homers Tuesday
Greene went 4-for-9 with a double, two home runs and three total RBI across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Advice: Greene provided all of Detroit's offense with a solo home run in the first game Tuesday, a 2-1 loss, but he really got going in the nightcap. He collected three hits in the 11-6 win, including a double and another homer, his seventh of the season. The talented young outfielder has pushed his OPS up to a robust .912, and the sky is the limit for Greene the rest of the way if he manages to stay healthy. Rotowire.com Today, 7:37 pm

  • Another multi-hit game
Abreu went 3-for-4 with a walk, double, triple, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-0 win over San Francisco.

Advice: Abreu is swinging a productive bat; this was his fifth multi-hit game over the last 10 contests, during which he's 18-for-41 with nine extra-base hits, 10 RBI and eight runs scored. Much of that production has come as the cleanup batter, a spot that had been filled by Triston Casas prior to the oblique injury that landed him on the 60-day injured list. Rotowire.com Today, 7:33 pm
