• Blasts leadoff homer
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: In the third pitch he saw, Lindor took Dylan Cease deep for his first leadoff homer since 2019. It was his 12th home run this season and the third in his last nine games. Lindor has been on a steady climb for about a month now with an average of .303 over his last 25 games. After his slow start, the shortstop is now carrying a .231/.305/.420 slash line with 12 homers, 34 RBI and 11 steals for the season. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago
  • Being evaluated for concussion
Contreras is being evaluated for a concussion following Sunday's 5-4 win over the Reds, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Contreras took a shot to the head when he collided with Stuart Fairchild at home plate, applying the tag for the final out of the contest. The catcher was slow to get up and he'll now undergo some additional testing to determine the severity of the injury. The Brewers will start a three-game series on the road against the Angels on Monday and if he is forced to miss any action, Gary Sanchez would likely take over behind the plate. • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez so there will likely be many more opportunities for him to drive in runs. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Luis Arraez with two more hits Sunday
Luis Arraez went 2-for-5 with a double on Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Arraez was on point in this one. All five of his balls in play were hit at least 95 MPH and he continues to be an engine atop the Padres’ order. His batting average is up to .326 which is best in the National League among qualified players. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Back on bench Sunday
Wells is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Wells will sit for the second time in the series after making his lone start in Saturday's 8-1 win. Though he's gone 5-for-15 with a home run and walk in his last five games, Wells still appears to be stuck in a timeshare at catcher with Jose Trevino. Rotowire.com 25 minutes ago

  • Bleday has two hits in loss Sunday
JJ Bleday went 2-for-4 with a double against the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Athletics offense as they managed only two runs in the loss to the Twins. Bleday had two hits, though, and is now 7-for-18 (.388) over his last five games. The third-year outfielder is currently enjoying his best season with a .773 OPS. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago

Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.
