    Advice: Shea Langeliers put the Athletics ahead in the eighth inning, and Miller was able to slam the door in the ninth. Miller hasn't been charged with a run over his last 4.2 innings while posting a 5:2 K:BB in that span.   • Mason Miller needs just seven pitches for save
    Mason Miller struck out one in a clean ninth to get a save against the Twins on Friday.

    Advice: Miller “only” picked up one strikeout, but he also needed just seven pitches to get through the outing with five of those landing for strikes. The 25-year-old has locked down 14 saves for the A’s in 2024, and his ERA is a very healthy 2.08.   • Drives in four runs
    Thomas went 3-for-6 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over Colorado.

    Advice: Thomas finished a home run shy of the cycle as he stuff the stat sheet Friday. He knocked an RBI single in the third inning and a two-run double in the fourth before capping his day off with an RBI triple in the sixth.     Lane Thomas drove in four runs while picking up three hits in an 11-5 win over the Rockies on Friday.

    Advice: One of those hits was a triple, and it scored CJ Abrams to give Washington their 11-5 win. He also doubled in a pair with another RBI coming on a single.     Singer yielded a run on three hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out four during the loss to Texas.

    Advice: Singer turned in three scoreless frames before Wyatt Langford knocked an RBI double in the fourth inning. It was the only damage against Singer through five innings, but the Royals bullpen would go on to allow five runs in the sixth and cost him a win. It was his first start without allowing a homer since May 19; in his previous four outings, he was taken deep six times, resulting in a 5.31 ERA.   • Brady Singer pitches well in no-decision on Friday
    Brady Singer pitched well in a no-decision against the Rangers on Friday night, allowing just one run on three hits over his five frames.

    Advice: Singer racked up four strikeouts on the evening while surrendering a pair of free passes. The lone run that scored against him came on an RBI double off the bat of Wyatt Langford in the fourth inning. Singer exited with a 2-1 lead and in line for a victory, but the Royals’ bullpen was unable to oblige. The 27-year-old hurler got nine whiffs on 89 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 24 percent.     Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday in a loss to the Guardians

    Imanaga (7-2) took the loss to the Mets on Friday, allowing 10 runs on 11 eleven hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.

    Advice: Imanaga was hit hard early and often, surrendering six runs on three home runs in the first two innings and another run in the third. He was unable to record an out in the fourth frame and was charged with three more runs, resulting in the worst outing of his major-league career. In total, Imanaga allowed 11 hard-hit balls, as the velocity on each of his pitches was at least one mph below his season averages.
