• Matthew Liberatore pulled in fourth vs. Angels
Matthew Liberatore was charged for four runs while working 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision Monday against the Angels.

Advice: Liberatore was given the chance to tart Monday against a not-so-good Los Angeles lineup, but he didn’t take advantage of the situation. The southpaw was able to get out of the first two innings unscathed, but he gave up a four-spot in the third while picking up just a single strikeout in the contest. Liberatore may start again, but his fantasy value is limited, particularly since he’s not fully stretched out. Rotoworld 20 minutes ago

  • Jose Soriano blanks Cardinals into sixth inning
Jose Soriano blanked the Cardinals over 5 1/3 innings with six strikeouts, but he didn’t factor in the decision Monday.

Advice: Soriano deserved better, as he allowed just two hits throughout the outing. He did issue three walks, but anytime there was traffic the 25-year-old was able to make a key pitch to get out of the jam. Soriano lowers his ERA to 3.72, and for the most part, he’s looked like a competent starter — albeit one who has limitations in fantasy because of his poor team behind him and a likely inning limit. • Andrés Muñoz strikes out three in four-out save
Andrés Muñoz struck out three while going 1 1/3 scoreless innings Monday to get a save against the Royals.

Advice: The Mariners won this game by four runs, but because the right-hander came in with the score 4-2, he still gets credit for the save. That’s the sixth of the season for the 25-year-old, and he’s lowered his ERA to an aesthetically pleasing 1.62 in the process. Muñoz has been one of the best relievers in baseball for the first quarter of the season, and it should continue through the summer months. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago

  • Grabs third save
Adam tossed one scoreless inning to pick up the save Monday against the Red Sox. He walked one and struck out three.

Advice: With Pete Fairbanks unavailable due to a cut on his throwing hand, Adam was called upon Monday to close the door for his third save. Adam, who served as the Rays' main end-game option while Fairbanks was on the shelf prior to his return on May 11, will likely remain the preferred option until Fairbanks is ready to return from his most recent setback. • Sent to Chicago
Miller was traded from the Mariners to the Cubs on Monday in exchange for Jake Slaughter, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Miller was designated for assignment three days ago by the Mariners, and he'll now pack his bags for Chicago following Monday's transaction. He's surrendered four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out 12 over 11.2 innings so far this season as a reliever and will immediately join the big-league club, per Passan. • Allows season-high four runs
Crawford (2-2) suffered the loss Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings against the Rays. He struck out six.

Advice: Crawford did not allow a long ball after having allowed one each over his past two starts (none over his first six outings) but did serve up three extra-base hits on his way to allowing four earned runs for the first time this season. A two-out triple in the first inning by Amed Rosario was the biggest blow while a fourth inning double by Jose Caballero set up Tampa's fourth run and ultimately served as the deciding run that sent Crawford to his second defeat. Despite the relatively subpar effort, Crawford maintains a high-quality 2.24 ERA that he'll take into his next start, tentatively slated to take place over the weekend when the Red Sox head to St. Louis for an inter-league matchup against the Cardinals. • Report: Cubs acquiring Tyson Miller from Mariners
The Cubs are acquiring recently DFA’d reliever Tyson Miller from the Mariners, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Advice: Going back to Seattle will be infielder Jake Slaughter. Miller, who debuted with the Cubs in 2020, had a 3.09 ERA in nine appearances before the Mariners dropped him from the roster. Rotoworld Today, 8:41 pm

  • Lorenzen tosses seven scoreless innings Monday
Michael Lorenzen threw seven shutout innings and picked up the no-decision in the Rangers loss to the Guardians Monday.

Advice: Lorenzen allowed only one hit, walked four and struck out four. The Rangers failed to support him as the offense couldn’t score a run and the bullpen allowed seven once he was out of the game. Lorenzen lowered his ERA to 3.75 on the season. The 32-year-old right-hander is set to face the Angels at home this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 8:31 pm
  • Fires seven shutout frames
Lorenzen allowed a hit and four walks over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Lorenzen struggled with his command but continually evaded danger and turned in his best -- and longest -- start of the year. Unfortunately for him, the Rangers were shut out, preventing him from getting back in the win column. He's produced quality starts in three of his six outings this season and lowered his ERA to 3.75 through 36 frames. Lorenzen's next start is projected to be at home against the Angels this weekend.
