    • Goes deep in loss
Rogers went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and three total RBI in Saturday's 6-5, 10-inning loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rogers delivered a key blast in the top of the sixth inning to put the Tigers up 5-2, but Los Angeles scored the final four runs of the contest to spoil his effort. The Detroit backstop is now up to six long balls this season in 51 games, which is a step back from last year's pace, when he swatted a career-high 21 homers in 107 contests. Rogers is still capable of getting hot quickly, though he's splitting time behind the plate with Carson Kelly, which either player's ability to sustain much momentum. Rotowire.com Today, 6:07 am
    • Makes season debut
Wynns went 3-for-5 with three doubles, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Wynns was added to the roster Friday when the Reds placed Tyler Stephenson on the paternity list. The 33-year-old Wynns is not expected to survive on the roster past this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 5:03 am
    • Jake Rogers homers, plates three in losing effort
Jake Rogers hit a two-run homer on Saturday in the Tigers’ extra-inning loss to the Angels.

Advice: Rogers delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the fourth inning before taking Angels starter Griffin Canning deep in his next at-bat. It was his sixth long ball of the season and lone extra-base hit for Detroit during an extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Today, 3:33 am
    • Pops eighth home run
Lee went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Lee added insurance runs in the eighth inning of Saturday's win by popping his eighth home run of the season. Despite going yard three times in his last 12 games, Lee is in a lengthy slump, hitting just .175 across 80 at-bats in June. Also hurting Lee's fantasy value is that he's lost at-bats at designated hitter due to a combination of his struggles and the return of Eloy Jimenez. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm

    • Belts first homer
Stubbs went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Marlins.

Advice: The 31-year-old backstop got the Phillies on the board in the third inning by clubbing a Roddery Munoz sinker over the right-field fence. The homer was Stubbs' first of the season, and he's been making a modest impact since J.T. Realmuto (knee) was sidelined, hitting safely in nine of his last 10 games and batting .278 (10-for-36) over that stretch. The RBI was his first since June 2, however. • Garrett Stubbs homers in loss to Marlins
Garrett Stubbs went 1-for-2 with a solo homer against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Stubbs put the Phillies on the board with a solo homer off Roddery Muñoz to lead off the third inning, his first homer of the season. It was one of two runs the Phillies would score in the loss to Miami. The 29-year-old backstop has taken over as the primary catcher with J.T. Realmuto on the injured list. He’s slashing .216/.281/.261 across 96 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:50 pm

    • Mets outright Joe Hudson to Triple-A
Mets sent C Joe Hudson outright to Triple-A Syracuse.

Advice: Hudson got into one game earlier this month for the Mets with Luis Torrens away from the club on paternity leave. The 33-year-old journeyman backstop has done a nice job the last few years serving as emergency organizational catching depth for several organizations. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:55 am

    • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) won’t need rehab assignment
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Saturday that Gabriel Moreno (thumb) is not expected to require a rehab assignment.

Advice: Moreno is getting back up to speed in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League at the moment, but Lovullo made it sound like he’ll return on Tuesday instead of getting into some additional minor league contests. The 24-year-old backstop has been out since last weekend due to a left thumb sprain. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:35 am

    • Getting Saturday off
Barnhart isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup for Saturday's game versus Oakland.

Advice: The switch-hitting Barnhart owns just a .290 OPS against left-handed pitching this season, so he'll take a seat Saturday as the A's send southpaw Hogan Harris to the mound. Jose Herrera will fill in behind the dish and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 am
