    • Rehab assignment coming
Mahle (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Mahle is scheduled to throw a bullpen session a Camden Yards this weekend, per Texas manager Bruce Bochy, prior to joining Round Rock. If all goes well, the right-hander could be part of the Rangers' rotation by the beginning of August. Mahle is working his way back from Tommy John surgery he underwent last May. • Griffin Canning gives up five runs in no-decision
Griffin Canning was charged with five runs (four earned) over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Canning surrendered six hits, including a two-run homer to light-hitting backstop Jake Rogers in the sixth inning, which put him on the hook for a potential loss until the Angels’ offense bailed him out in the late innings. He struck out four and also issued a pair of walks. The 28-year-old righty has shown some flashes of fantasy upside over the last few years, but hasn’t quite put it all together. He’ll bring a pedestrian 4.71 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 63/32 K/BB ratio across 93 2/3 innings (17 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Friday against the Cubs. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 am
    • Throws one inning
Garcia (elbow) threw one scoreless inning at the Florida Complex League on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Garcia returned to game action for the first time since May of 2023. He threw only 12 pitches and averaged 92.7 mph with his fastball. Garcia is slated to make his next rehab outing in early July. Rotowire.com Today, 12:32 am

    • Set for bullpen session
Bloss (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bloss has played catch a few times since landing on the injured list, but Sunday will mark his most intense activity. He's expected to return in early July, shortly after first eligible to be activated. Rotowire.com Today, 12:29 am

    • Building workload
Senzatela (elbow) threw between 30 and 35 pitches in a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Senzatela threw his fastball and changeup during the session with the goal of building up his stamina. He is expected to be cleared to throw breaking balls in the coming days, at which time he could also begin to face live hitters. Rotowire.com Today, 12:17 am
    • Struggles in rehab outing
Marquez (elbow) allowed four earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out one while recording just two outs in a rehab outing with Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Advice: Marquez made his first start with Albuquerque, though things didn't go according to plan. He threw only 33 pitches in the short outing and will now require another rehab appearance either July 3 or 4. If Marquez can turn around his performance in that start, he may return to the big-league rotation before the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 12:14 am
    • Solid in no-decision
Munoz came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Phillies, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: The rookie right-hander exited the game after 79 pitches (50 strikes) in line for his fourth loss, despite the fact the Munoz allowed fewer than three runs for only the second time in his last six starts. A late rally by the Marlins took him off the hook, however. Munoz will take a 5.58 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 38:20 K:BB through 40.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm
    • Makes debut Saturday
Graceffo allowed a run on three hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.1 innings of relief in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Graceffo was called on for mop-up duty after an unusually poor start from Sonny Gray and an ineffective relief appearance by John King. The Cardinals' bullpen has been leaned on heavily of late, and Graceffo was called up Friday to provide length after working as a starter with Triple-A Memphis. He has a 3.84 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 70:29 K:BB over 75 innings with Memphis this year. It's unclear if the right-hander will stick around in the majors or return to Memphis after this 67-pitch appearance, which was his first in 10 days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:30 pm
    • Throws five scoreless
Hancock (back) didn't factor into the decision in a start with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, allowing five hits and three walks with two strikeouts across 5.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Hancock was removed from his last start for Tacoma with lower-back tightness but wasn't forced to miss a turn in the rotation. The 25-year-old was a candidate to be called up after Bryan Woo (hamstring) was placed on the IL, but the Mariners opted to recall Jhonathan Diaz instead. It's unclear if Hancock's back flare-up affected the Mariners' decision. Hancock owns a 1.64 ERA across seven starts with Tacoma. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
