    • Sitting out Monday
Stanton is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Juan Soto is getting a day at designated hitter as he eases back into the Yankees' lineup, and manager Aaron Boone has opted against using Stanton in the outfield, so he'll begin this one on the bench. Stanton went 0-for-14 with seven strikeouts in the weekend series versus the Dodgers. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:27 pm

    • Slugs ninth homer
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: The center fielder took Carlos Carrasco deep to lead off the fourth inning and get the Marlins on the board. Chisholm isn't making consistent contact, but he's on pace for career highs in the counting stats, and over the last 12 games he's slashing .250/.284/.469 with three of his nine homers and three of his 12 steals on the season. • Notches seventh steal
Varsho went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the A's.

Advice: The 27-year-old outfielder has stolen bags in back-to-back games, giving him seven steals on the year. Varsho keeps finding ways to be productive, and through nine games in June he's batting .296 (8-for-27) with three doubles, two triples and six runs scored. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:49 am

    • Swipes eighth bag
Springer went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the A's.

Advice: The veteran outfielder stole his eighth bag of the year but his first since May 15, snapping a 19-game drought on the basepaths. Springer is showing signs of life at the plate as well -- over his last 12 games, he's slashing .268/.400/.439 with two homers, four RBI and 11 runs. He's been consistently hitting lower in the order during that stretch, anywhere from fifth to seventh, and with rookie Spencer Horwitz currently getting a look as a table-setter, Springer likely won't return to a more prominent spot in the lineup any time soon. • Daulton Varsho scores twice as Jays defeat A’s
Daulton Varsho singled, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Blue Jays rallied to defeat the Athletics in extra innings.

Advice: Varsho led off the eighth inning with a single, was sacrificed to second base, swiped third and then scored the game’s tying run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Davis Schneider. He was then hit by a pitch to load the bases in the 10th inning and raced home on Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s bases-clearing double. For the season, the dynamic 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .217/.306/.453 with 10 homers, 31 RBI and seven stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:46 pm

    • Jazz Chisholm homers in loss to Guardians
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Jazz absolutely demolished a fourth-inning offering from Carlos Carrasco 440 feet and 108.1 mph for his ninth home run of the season. The 26-year-old has lowered his strikeout rate and raised his walk rate this season, but it hasn’t led to much of an improvement in batting average. Still, he’s likely going to hit 20 home runs with at least 25 steals, which makes him a great bat for your fantasy teams. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:47 pm
    • Blasts third homer, steals base
Friedl went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Friedl drove in three of the Reds' four runs on a two-run homer off Ben Brown in the third and an RBI groundout in the fifth. Friedl reached base again on a walk in the eighth and added his fifth stolen base of the season. The 28-year-old has struggled to stay healthy this season, but he's now started in 10 straight games since his latest IL stint. The center fielder has three homers, 13 RBI and five stolen bases in just 16 games this year. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:25 pm
    • Knocks in go-ahead runs
Chourio went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Advice: The 20-year-old delivered a clutch two-out double in the sixth to give his team the lead for good. With this performance, Chourio now has a pair of multi-hit efforts and five RBI over his last four games. The rookie has had his share of up and downs, but he continues to be given opportunities as he's appeared in 55 of the Brewers 64 games this season despite his .216/.257/.347 line. • Getting rest Saturday
Springer is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Springer went 0-for-4 in the series opener Friday, and he has failed to register a hit over his last three games. The 34-year-old is slashing .202/.292/.305 with five home runs and 13 RBI over 243 plate appearances this season. With Springer out of Saturday's lineup, Daulton Varsho and Davis Schneider will occupy right and left field, respectively, while Spencer Horwitz makes his 2024 debut at second base against Oakland right-hander Luis Medina.
