    Yohan Ramírez recorded his seventh major league save by allowing only the automatic runner to score in the bottom of the 11th against the Yankees on Friday.

    Advice: Evan Phillips was off limits tonight after throwing 31 pitches Thursday, so Michael Grove got the 10th and Ramírez pitched the 11th. It was his first save since the final day of the 2022 season, when he was working for the Pirates.     Urquidy underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow Wednesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: The Astros had only described Urquidy's surgery as "season-ending" prior to the operation, but it's now likely the 29-year-old righty remains out until the second half of the 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery for the second time in his career. Hall made two one-inning rehab appearances in the minors in late May before he tweaked his knee, and he'll likely require at least a few bullpen sessions before being cleared for game action again.
