• Mitch Haniger hits fifth homer of season in win
Mitch Haniger went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Mariners’ win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Advice: Haniger’s solo blast in the second inning put the Mariners on the board first, and has now hit safely in three-straight games. He would later hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give the Mariners an 8-6 lead in a game that went back-and-forth throughout the night. The veteran right fielder has struggled to get on base this season and is now slashing .215/.273/.372 on the year. While he remains good for the occasional homer, batting in an offense that ranks near the bottom of the league in runs scored doesn’t give him much upside at this time. Rotoworld 8 minutes ago

  • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. • Vierling has multi-hit game in win
Matt Vierling went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the victory over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Vierling continues to hit as his .282 average and .155 ISO this year would be career-highs. The Tigers sent Parker Meadows to the minors earlier this week, leaving Vierling and Wenceel Perez as the only viable options in centerfield. Vierling has multiple paths to playing time as even with Perez in the lineup he got the start at third base. He should see everyday at-bats until he cools off, making him an option in deeper formats. • Kelenic hits first homer of season vs. Red Sox
Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI in the Braves’ win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: It took 73 at bats for Kelenic to finally hit his first homer of the season. His two-run blast in the third gave the Braves an early 2-0 lead, but the Red Sox would battle back before the Braves finally went up 4-2. Kelenic has struggled to make the most of his platooned role, and can’t be relied on by fantasy managers at this time. Rotoworld Today, 7:09 pm

  • Pillar homers twice in second start with Angels
Kevin Pillar went 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI in a win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Pillar was signed by the Angles last week after hitting .160 (4-for-25) with one homer and two steals in 17 games this season for the White Sox before being designated for assignment. Tuesday was his second start for the Angels, but he made it count, blasting a 403-foot home run at 103.6 mph of the bat in the fourth inning and then a 396-foot home run at 101.8 mph in the seventh inning. It’s likely just a one-off performance by Pillar but with both Mickey Moniak and Jo Adell struggling of late, Pillar could be playing himself into a bit more playing time. He’s still best left on the wire in all league types for now. Rotoworld Today, 7:01 pm

  • Four hits, two homers vs. Cleveland
Ibanez went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double, four total RBI and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Ibanez led off the game with a solo homer off Logan Allen before breaking a 2-2 tie with a three-run shot in the second inning. It's the second multi-homer game of Ibanez's career, though he hadn't logged an extra-base hit through his first 13 games this season. The 31-year-old utility man is now slashing .364/.361/.576 in 36 plate appearances with seven RBI and seven runs scored. Ibanez could take on a platoon role at second base as Colt Keith's struggled to start the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 6:51 pm

  • Ibáñez on base five times in Tigers victory Tuesday
Andy Ibáñez erupted for four hits, two home runs and four RBI in win over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Ibanez was on base five times as he went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double and a walk. He’s a part-time player who sees most of his at-bats against left-handed pitching, but that could change with the rest of the Tigers offense floundering. Ibanez is now 8-for-18 since returning from the injured list on April 30th. In 35 at-bats this year, he’s hitting .364. Rotoworld Today, 5:59 pm

  • Resumes swinging
Manager Scott Servais said Tuesday that he has seen video of Canzone (shoulder) swinging at the Mariners' complex in Arizona, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Servais seemed pleased with the progress Canzone has made since landing on the injured list April 15. However, he noted that Canzone will require an extended rehab assignment, so the 26-year-old outfielder is likely still a few weeks away from returning to the Mariners' lineup. • Out again Tuesday
Bader is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in St. Louis.

Advice: It's the second straight day Bader has been out of the lineup, although he did contribute a pinch-hit double Monday (before being thrown out on the bases). Brandon Nimmo is in center field and DJ Stewart will occupy left. Rotowire.com Today, 1:54 pm
