    Advice: Neto doubled and scored in the sixth inning and later added an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth. After producing just two multi-hit efforts through his first 21 games, the second-year shortstop has collected multiple hits in three of his last four games.     Patrick Bailey hit a walk-off three-run homer to give the Giants a 3-0 win Friday over the Pirates.

    Advice: After being held scoreless for eight frames, Bailey was ready to go home with a three-run blast off David Bednar in the bottom of the ninth to give the Giants the win. The second-year backstop has swung the bat well thus far in 2024, as he’s up to three homers, a .297 average and an OPS of .880.     Willi Castro doubled twice while going 3-for-4 in a victory Friday over the Angels.

  • Carlos Santana homers as Twins top Angels
    Carlos Santana homered and drove in two runs in a 5-3 win for the Twins over the Angels on Friday.

    Advice: Santana opened the scoring with a solo homer off Patrick Sandoval in the second inning. The veteran picked up another RBI with a single in the sixth to extend Minnesota’s lead to 4-0.     Advice: Bohm doubled and scored in the first inning and later added an RBI single in the fourth. He has multiple hits in five of his last six games, going 15-for-26 (.577) with seven doubles in the process.     Advice: Realmuto turned a not-so-close game into a blowout with a two-run homer to extend Philadelphia’s lead from 7-1 to 9-1.     Brandon Marsh went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI in a 9-3 rout of the Padres on Friday.

    Advice: The Phillies were able to sock five homers on Friday night — four of those off Joe Musgrove — and Marsh took Musgrove deep with a runner on to give Philadelphia a 5-0 lead. He also doubled in a run in the first, and the three-hit night has the 26-year-old slashing .291/.329/.570. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:28 pm

    Advice: Marsh knocked an RBI double in the first inning followed by a two-run blast in the third, both coming against Joe Musgrove. It was Marsh's sixth long ball of the year, though he had just one over his previous 11 games before Friday's big performance. He's now slashing .291/.329/.570 with nine extra-base hits and 16 RBI through 85 plate appearances this season. Friday's game was his second multi-hit showing over his last 14 contests.
