      Advice: Gausman gave up three home runs Monday after allowing just two over his past nine starts. The 33-year-old had notched three-consecutive quality starts prior to Monday's setback, but he has been unable to find his footing this season. Through 60.2 innings, Gasuman holds a 4.60 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP, both of which are his worst since 2019.       Advice: The two home runs give Gorman 13 on the season. He’s now hit three home runs in his last two games. Gorman isn’t going to provide a good average. He’s hitting .230 and his career average is .230. Gorman can hit the stuffing out of the ball, though. He had 27 home runs in 119 games last year and is on pace to push for 30 home runs this year. The southpaw blew his first save of the season May 24 in Coors Field, but he has otherwise pitched well since his last save, recording a 1.50 ERA with six strikeouts and two holds over six innings of work.       Kevin Gausman allowed six runs in 6 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Monday.

      Advice: Gausman gave up six hits, walked one and struck out three. He had thrown three quality starts in a row, but couldn’t keep the momentum going against the Orioles. Gausman had allowed five home runs in 11 previous starts, but gave up a home run to Anthony Santander and two home runs to Austin Hays. His ERA is now 4.60 on the season.       José Alvarado fired a flawless ninth inning on Monday against the Brewers to collect his 10th save of the season.

      Advice: Alvardo got the call to protect a two-run lead in the final frame after Jeff Hoffman worked a flawless eighth inning and needed just 10 pitches (seven strikes) to notch his first save since May 21. There isn’t a ton of clarity regarding the pecking order for Phillies manager Rob Thomson, but it appears Hoffman and Alvarado will continue splitting save opportunities depending on matchups. The 27-year-old should have a hold on a near-everyday role while he's sizzling at the plate, but his absence from the lineup Monday will open up a spot in the outfield for Akil Baddoo.     • Recovering from minor setback
      Turner (hamstring) had a minor setback when he felt some leg soreness following a high-intensity workout May 25, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Turner resumed workouts this past weekend, doing some light jogging and change-of-direction running in addition to fielding grounders and hitting in the cage. The Phillies haven't offered a timetable for when he will run the bases, and Turner will need to start up a running program in addition to taking part in sliding drills before he's cleared for a rehab assignment. Turner will travel with the Phillies for their series in London against the Mets later this week to continue workouts, but he won't be activated from the 10-day injured list.
