    • Anthony Rizzo powers Yankees past Rays on Friday
Anthony Rizzo clubbed his seventh home run of the season and drove in a pair on Friday night, propelling the Yankees to a 2-0 victory over the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Advice: Rizzo broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with an RBI single off of Taj Bradley. He tacked on an insurance run in the ninth with his 392-foot (103.8 mph EV) off of Shawn Armstrong. The 34-year-old slugger finished the evening 2-for-4 and is now slashing .265/.337/.435 with seven long balls and 22 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:34 pm

    • Wilyer Abreu sits against southpaw on Friday
Wilyer Abreu is not in the Red Sox’ starting lineup for Friday night’s tilt against the Nationals.

Advice: While Abreu did draw a start against a left-hander on Thursday, he’s not in the lineup for a matchup against Patrick Corbin and the Nationals on Friday evening. Rob Refsnyder will start as the team’s designated hitter on Friday night and will bat second for the Red Sox. Rotoworld Today, 2:22 pm

    • Slugs another homer
Judge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Houston on Thursday.

Advice: Judge's eighth-inning solo shot was a massive one, as it traveled an estimated 473 feet. The slugger has turned on his power of late, swatting three homers and driving in six runs over his past four contests. He's now tied with Juan Soto for the team lead with nine home runs and ranks second with 25 RBI on the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:33 pm

    • Goes deep in loss
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: Volpe accounted for New York's first scores with a two-run blast to right field in the third inning. It was his second homer in his past three contests following a 25-game stretch during which he went deep just once. Volpe is still batting just .200 through eight games in May, but he's held onto the leadoff spot, batting first in the order in all of the Yankees' contests so far this month. • Aaron Judge clobbers gargantuan 473-foot homer
Aaron Judge walloped a 473-foot solo homer on Thursday in the Yankees’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Judge’s tape-measure shot to left-center field off Astros relief ace Ryan Pressly slashed New York’s deficit to just a single run in the eighth inning. The 32-year-old former AL MVP Award winner has started to heat up at the dish with three big flies in his last four contests. It’s going to take a while for his surface stats to fully recover from his frosty start, but he’s up to .236/.362/.493 with 19 runs scored, nine homers, 25 RBI and two steals through 175 plate appearances. • Anthony Volpe crushes two-run homer in loss
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer on Thursday in the Yankees’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Volpe connected for a two-run opposite-field shot into the right-field corner off Astros starter Ronel Blanco in the third inning. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season and second time he’s left the yard in his last three contests. The 23-year-old shortstop has made an effort to flatten his swing and employ an all-fields approach this season, but is still hitting for some over-the-fence pop, while also significantly improving his batting average. • Ippei Mizuhara pleads guilty to multiple charges
Shohei Ohtani’s former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara is pleading guilty to multiple charges including bank fraud and subscribing to a false tax return, according to the Associated Press.

Advice: Mizuhara has agreed to plead guilty to bank and tax fraud in a case where federal prosecutors allege he stole nearly $17 million from Ohtani to pay off sports gambling debts to an illegal bookmaking operation. Mizuhara will enter his guilty plea in the coming weeks and is set to be arraigned May 14, bringing an end to one of the more bizarre sagas in baseball history. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:05 pm
