      Advice: Volpe’s 21-game hitting streak came to an end during Thursday’s series finale against the Angels when he went 0-for-5, but he’s reached base safely in 28 consecutive contests since May 2, which puts him in a tie with teammate Aaron Judge for the longest active streak in the game.       Advice: Lively fired three scoreless frames before allowing two runs in the fourth inning and left the game just shy of a quality start after allowing a two-out single to Lane Thomas in the sixth. This was Lively's fourth win in as many games, and he has not allowed more than three runs in any of his nine starts this season. It’s a bit of a disappointing effort considering how bad Chicago’s lineup is, but credit to the 25-year-old for limiting the damage to just the roundtrippers.       Garrett Crochet held the Brewers to one run over six innings while striking out eight Saturday in a no-decision for the White Sox.

      Advice: Crochet scattered five hits with one walk. The left-hander continues to impress even while playing for arguably the worst team in baseball, and he’s struck out 19 over his last two outings while allowing just three runs over 12 innings. Any question that Crochet has the stuff to succeed as a starter was pretty silly, but it should have been answered now. The questions of whether he can handle the modern rigors remain in doubt, but right now, Crochet is an excellent fantasy option even if the wins won’t come.
